I almost ignored the entirety of S4 for this video but some of the scenes were so good that I wanted to include them. Safe to say this show is probably one of the worst disappointments ever for me. I watched Veronica Mars years ago (some of you may remember my excitement when the movie came out) and this is one of my all time favourite ships. They (and especially Logan) were done dirty and I'm gonna ignore that it's canon.
Isn't it great that they got married and lived happily ever after :)

just the other day i was thinking it was unfathomable that there aren't more edits of these two and having watched this, i realized why.. it's probably better for my emotional health. it breaks my heart all over again. and what makes it extremely, unbearably heartbreaking is Logan's beautiful development over the course of all those years. he deserved better.
Heba Las I couldn’t have said it better myself. Logan deserved so much better than to be used as a plot device to make Veronica’s life darker or whatever.

I choose to believe he is in a coma. That's why Veronica was messed up at the end of the episode. But he is not dead and even though at that moment he seems like a lost cause Veronica is not giving up on him. Because he will come back to her. Always.
Rob messed up so bad. I’m pretty sure I’m not alone is saying that without Logan I’m not going to watch the show. Logan made Veronica better. He was a lot of ppls favourite character. Once again another producer ruining a beautiful relationship and character because he wanted to be different. The fans are the ones who brought this show back only to be slapped in the face. Ughhhh I’m so pissed. 🤬 thank god for fan fiction and RUclips edits or I’d lose my damn mind and drown in my tears. 🤦♀️ alright I’m done being dramatic for now.

While I do agree that Logan deserved better (he was one of the most well-developed characters in the series), I have to disagree that he needs to be alive to make Veronica better... She strives in tragedy... The entire first and part of second seasons were focused on her self-development after the death of Lilly Kane. I'm sure the ghost of Logan will play a huge part in Veronica's healing and growth going forward.
Nathan Duarte but that’s the thing she was already on her way to be a well rounded character. Veronica’s main issue is trust and the idea that the world is a cruel place, ppl suck and her happiness isn’t all her own. So throughout the whole series they’ve been building up this relationship and in the process letting these two characters grow. And then they said “haha nevermind, life sucks and you can’t be in a healthy relationship.” All he ended up doing was make her go backwards. They should have just had them get married and ended it. Now no one is happy because I highly doubt Hulu will give them a season 5 after everyone lost their shit. No one would watch it because of how bad the butchered this on. The fans are the ones who brought this show back to life and rob just shit all over them. 🤷🏼♀️ I’m done being disappointed.
Amanda Moore exactly, denial is key. They’re free on a beach with their dog somewhere. Veronica is studying up on a case with her dog by her side while she watches Logan surf. Life is good. 👌🏻
I haven't, and won't finish the season or series. Furious is an understatement. F#$@ the writers. It's lazy ass writing to kill off characters and the POS writers couldn't give us an hour of marriage bliss.
You know when they say “Be careful what you wish for”? Yea, I finally now understand that saying personally. I wished for more VM and when we finally got it it was completely destroyed. 😭
Thank you for this video. Killing off Logan was one of the laziest options for a writer and total BS. I'm definitely not watching any future episodes of VM w/o Logan. Veronica Mars evolving as a person means being able to balance life as a P.I. and living as a partner to Logan. #LoVeForever
It's sad because they basically want VM to be able to sleep around as a detective & not be 'tied down'. Defeats the while purpose of the show being about more than just a detective.

They completely isolated Veronica. Her whole thing was that she struggled to trust people. Then she finally grew as a person and learnt how to let people in and they tore all of that away from her. She never thought she was allowed to let her guard down and be happy but it happened. She lost her friends, her community and now the only person she ever wanted to be with. They did her, everything she stood for and Logan absolutely wrong.
Im so in love with their love story. So angry Logan was 'killed' off just to continue some man's version of a detective. Lame! #bringLoganEcholsback

There was a car that passed by right before the explosion. So, that's what I'm going with too. Maybe he has amnesia. Hey, if the fast and furious movies can get away with that storyline, why not this one?
I could watch videos of them forever and feel equally heartbroken each time. I know everyone else feels it and it's already been said. It's just so unfair. They deserved so much better.
I almost didn't watch this due to the pain of losing him forever, but then, i had to, bc Logan & Jason deserved better, and I'll always love and support them. 40 sec in and I'm bawling already.
Logan's death pissed me off so much, and the reason given was even stupider. If they wanted Veronica to face loss so badly they could've killed off Keith. Had the bomb planted in Mars Investigations and Veronica realizing it and racing off at the last second to not make it in time.
She would have still blamed herself because she was the one who pulled her dad back in to finish the case. Could have still ended up in therapy to deal with her loss. She would have been motivated to stay in Neptune as there'd be no other - decent - PI left in the city.
Like, I fail to see how it was fine for her to have her dad for 3 seasons as a person she could go home to, but having a husband in that role was just unacceptable???
Especially given his job would let them write him out of entire episodes and arcs as needed. Or he could have picked up private security/protection detail permanently and we could've had some fun conflict with Logan being hired to protect the privacy of the people Veronica was hired to snoop on.
It was bad writing, plain and simple. If you're going to kill off Logan you don't do it in the last 10 minutes right after their wedding, turning the man into a plot point. At the bare minimum you give him agency and let him die by choice, protecting someone.
My heart still aches over the sadness and disappointment I have endured that faithful 19th of July. When all the excitement I felt due to my favorite show of 15 years returning had turned into angry and bitter tears. But, videos like this help me remember why I have fell in love with LoVe. And that they will forever be happy in my heart, and that all the strangeness and awfulness of the 4th season could be erased by erasing it from canon, save from some wonderful LoVe scenes you have included here. So, thank you for this wonderful reminder, that I can still feel them. I don't think I will ever be over them. It feels like I have lost a friend I have known and loved for 15 years.
TeamHodgins, yes! I read your description. I also loved VM from it's original run on TV. I supported the movie on Kickstarter within a few hours of the launch. Logan and Veronica's relationship is one of my favorites ever of any show. I feel so betrayed by Rob Thomas, the other writers, and Kristen Bell (since she seemed to have input). We, the fans, cared so much about LoVe because that's the way the show was written and filmed. And with season 4's finale they basically spit in the face of their devoted fans by killing Logan. And killing him right after their marriage? And after she questioned if she wanted to marry him? And dreamed of another man? And after his death we didn't see the funeral...or spend time grieving the loss with her? You know what, let's just jump forward 1 year in the story. "Alright marshmallows, let's go solve some crimes, cause that's the heart of the show" (said no true fan of the show...ever).
The reason Rob gave for killing Logan was that tragedy or sadness gave Veronica the reason to go on doing what she did but how long will you keep pushing the same narrative? A lot of us would want to see Veronica in a new light, a different reason aka Logan to give her purpose, I'd want to see her healing and happy not always being driven by loss.

These kids were one of my big otps back in high school. Season 3 had bummed me out so much but then the movie came along and I had hope. I was so excited about s4. I guess I'm not going to watch it. Cant take the heartbreak.

I am planning on making a video about them where I completely ignore the last few minutes of the season finale. After GoT and D&D, VM and Rob Thomas have been the second biggest punch in the solar plexus I had to endure because of nonsensical decisions and shitty writing, and as such I will not accept neither of them as canon. LoVe got married and they are living together and happy. Okay, now that my rant is over I just wanted to tell you that the song was such a good fit and you did a fantastic job with the editing as always, I LOVE it!

I straight up refuse to watch the new season on Hulu. The only guy that could pull this off and miraculously bring Logan back alive (not in flashbacks!!! 😠) is Joss Whedon. I'm devastated. Logan and Jason Dohring deserved so much better. 😭

I have honestly been avoiding watching the last 4 episodes because I know what's coming, and watching it will make it too final. I just got into the show this year, with the announcement of S4, and got hooked. I was so excited to know LoVe would be back, and then the spoilers started popping up. I went back and rewatched S1-3, watched the movie a couple of times to delay the inevitable finality of S4 for LoVe. I think it was a betrayal of the fans, Jason, and LoVe. He lost his mother, his father had to be murdered, flighty relationship with Trina, and no contact with his brother. Now he has to lose his life when he was finally getting stable?
Don't watch it. They seriously ruined everything to me I can't bring myself to rewatch the whole series, my heart is broken and I feel it personally because I donated back then to get the movie made. They F-ing used our money, our true involvement, and spit us in the face 😡😡🤮
@@rayray24 I've seen the last scenes, the wedding, the explosion, and her seeing the therapist, and listening to his recording. I dont want to see what leads up to that. It is disappointing knowing that is the end. We could have just had the movie, and that's it. Its great we got to see them still together, and Logan growing, but that ending is garbage!

i remember when I was watching Veronica Mars on TV when I was in primary school, and it's my favourite tv series till these days. to be honest I wasn't pleased about season 4, cause I just think that it should be stay like it was after season 3 and the movie, and it would be better to just leave it in peace. now i am little torn, cause i am so damn curious about what they did to my loved characters, and i am scared at the same time cause i'm afarid they may ruined it completly and i am sure my heart will not survive this. after this video i'm torn even more :c
