I sometimes underestimate other teams too (who doesn't?). For example, today I was looking for someone to take revenge on. I see: someone has Financier, Sherbet, and someone from BTS in defense. All of them are about level 70 and with a decent number of stars. Nevertheless, I decided to attack them. As a result, after the battle, only the Vampire and RM remained alive in my team (which is not surprising with the latter). However, sometimes (at least once a week) I encounter situations when teams lose to me, which I would be afraid to attack myself. These are the pies.
i underestimate a team once it was black pearl and frost queen their power level was under 200k and they didnt have any treasure and my team is 430 567 and i had the feather,scole and the clock but i still lost 💀. i dont know how i lost.
Back then I had power 200, and saw a team with power 400 and one cookie which was hidden. Since it was only one and probably bait, I decided to go for them because normally it'd be a healer who does no damage right? Well it was Vampire Cookie. I was using a full team made of 50-53 level cookies (Cotton, Pure Vanilla, Black Pearl, Moonlight, and Caramel Arrow) and at first I thought I was winning. But then Vamp used his attack and took out one of my cookies (Cotton) with one hit and healed back to 100%. Well guess what, I lost. 24 trophies gone, because they were in Master 4 and I was in Master 3 (I always attacked bait teams lmao). Moral of the story: Stick to fighting teams around your power or less.

tbh, i fight team baiters on purpose. why? 1. Free trophies. 2. When they do revenge, they only reduce 3-5 trophies. (From what i know) 3. "They will get more thropy when they revenge than you!!" No bc i dont really care, they help me get trophies & i help them get trophies (by killing their team bait)
when i 4 starred my jin cookie i was alr lets finally put toppings on it me putting on my usual healer set (3 solid almonds and 2 swift chocolates): wtf am i doing its a safeguarded cookie
So there was one a5 maxed out financier cookie with maxed out scroll and feather, I don't know why I thought my vampire could solo it with my lvl5 scroll and lvl7 feather. In the end I lost misrebly.
i can't fight in the arena anymore basically because there not teams below 1.000.000💀 and they all have the same team: Hollyberry, Pure vanilla, Moonlight, Capsaicin and Stardust. IT'S GETTING ANNOYING! also I don't have Capsaicin and Stardust so that just makes me sad ._. (yet i managed to almost reach master 2)

One time I once fought a team that has only Squid Ink Cookie My team has Dark Choco Cookie, Cotton Cookie, Wildberry Cookie, Pinecone Cookie, and Macaron Cookie. good cukis A tip: upgrade the technologies from the sugar's gnome lab, the toppings of course (full choco cooldown for Sherbet, Cotton and Black Pearl (My BP is full atk sjsks but whatever) full almond DMG for Wildberry and Don Carlos) and the guild-cup-thing
Imo you should replace Cotton with a better healer like a BTS Cookie. From what I've experienced, Cotton comps can be beaten by burst damage and stun. If the opponents manage to destroy your Cotton before it unleashes more of her potential, then you've just lost your only healer, and end up getting screwed. The rest are fine.

Tea Knight Cookie's speed attacks really are a killer for most teams
So, the strat is basically make a weak defense to lure in weak players, then profit. I'll have to use this for myself
