    Ah this is exactly what I needed! I'm due in just two weeks and have decided I want to take my own newborn photos. Spending hundreds of dollars on a photographer just isn't feasible for me. Thanks so much for this!

    I never thought about dropping the camera on the baby! Thank God for that advice. I would die if I hurt my grandkids or anyone for that matter.

    THANK YOU... JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!! A QUESTION, WHAT LENS YOU USE FOR NEWBORN?? 24MM?

    • @HelloJudePhotography
      @HelloJudePhotography  Год назад +1

      I typically stick with a 50mm for the majority of my sessions (this entire video was with a 50mm). I do tend to use my 35mm a bit too, but not nearly as much as the 50.

      @@HelloJudePhotographyoh, thanks so much for that answer. I was searching the info about best lens for newborn. I am just starting that path and practice with my baby,but I have 85 mm lens, too much, but still I like it a lot. Now I consider selling mine 85 mm lens and buying 50 mm one.

    Hi, I’m a mom of 3 children, the youngest is 27days now, it is luck to have chance to watch your video which is super helpful for starting my photographer career. Well, can you please repeat the name of the shop that where you bought your DIY foam boards from? I’m living in Melbourne, northern area. Do you think I will be able to buy some in my area? Your reply will be appreciated. Thank you.

      Hobby Lobby is where I got mine from. I think most craft stores would have something similar though!

    How you get this white when you editing I am struggling to get white look

    • @HelloJudePhotography
      @HelloJudePhotography  5 месяцев назад +1

      I think having your white balance just right is super helpful to start. Some days I can get away with auto, but others I need to switch it over to Kelvin. Also having a reflector available (I have the homemade V flat) to bounce light and fill in the shadows is another great source of help. Thirdly if all else fails, using the masking tool in Lightroom can give an extra boost if needed.

      Thank you 😊 I only use ps , and I see my white balance with the subject is good but not for the background 😢

    In which month are the baby photos taken?

    • @HelloJudePhotography
      @HelloJudePhotography  3 месяца назад

      The best is month one. I generally love the 2-3 week mark best, but I've done as old as 6 months for "newborn" photos
