Save your money and buy a Penn live liner. Only good if you are fishing for crappie and freshwater bass. I caught a 12inch eel and the stem feel like it was going to break. Would be a good buy for $20 not 60. They should sell this at Walmart for $20 with a combo rod. It's quality is comparable to all the $20 combo Rod's that you would buy for your kids.
I have the same reel but first time use, I noticed the arm or leg attached to the rod flex when you are reeling in your catch (especially on something really heavy) - this made it difficult to reel in as it bend and flex. It felt like it is going to break on you. I also tried on doing some crab snaring with it and it is a completely thumbs down for me.
I think you must have a faulty one! The arm on mine is solid! How heavy is your catch generally? So could you go into detail about the thumbs down reasons. The metal cannot bend as it's metal. Can you blog the reel or show a video and link here? It's not that I don't believe you but I need to see this bending metal!!! What line are you using?
Was it a 6000. I think there are clearly multiple different quality levels and differences between them. So many people not happy. Would make me not want to buy another and yet I would want another one of mine if I could know that's what I would get. I think as well for the money people should not expect it to last 5 years.

It's depending on what kind of reel you are using. If you are used to a daiwa bg 8000 for example it will look small but the 6000 is a great all round size for most sea work and suitable for carp fishing.
Yet another ungrateful person who supplies no content for anyone. A taker. No videos 5 subscribers- looks like your all set for you new job as chief troll. When YT started it was all about amateur content. If you want to see overly produced rubbish and 'lies' turn on an invention called the TV.

I think Kastking has a troll problem. Probably the same guy under several names. I have 4 Kastking spinning reels and love them all.

I will do a video hopefully this weekend to share. I also have two other Sharky II 4000 and 6000. Will try to do a video on those two.
@@weekendfisherman8072 That would be great as this is just really an unboxing showing the reel though I do like it myself.
i got 3000........weak leg.....1 single hand grab on reel can shake L & R..........6000 is ok
My baitfeeder 6000 model have a hard time reeling a Dungeness crab because that leg flex. Not Regid at all compare to Sharky II 6000.
The teeth in the crank shaft broke in mine.

Holding up? Caught any fish?
Hi Yes, I had a lot of fish on this reel now. Nothing massive but some excellent takes with screaming bait-runner sound!😝

Why look so small
