As soon as I saw the pattern, my thoughts went back to an old (ugly) yellow radio that we had and had a very similar design on it in the front!!! I stared at it so much I think it was embedded forever in my memory. I was about 4 or 5 but remember it being in the kitchen on a brown table and set to a talk radio station. When they played music, mom would dance with me around the kitchen. wow! amazing how little things can bring back such memories. Will definitely give it a try!!! Thanks for sharing and the memories
Thanks for this, Barbara. I almost quit before I tried this one, cause I thought it was way beyond me. But I practiced and watched and practiced, and I'm okay with it. I really like your little double one with the extra mookas. - Barbara
I keep going back to this one...I can't seem to get it even on both sides. I know I just practice, but of course I want it to be perfect from the start. After doing todays tangle a couple times, I decided to come back to this one to see if I could improve. This is my second year doing Inktober and the last year has allowed me to see which tangles I can just 'get' and which ones I need to work at. I'm not sure if this feel like I should be working at it. But I did promise myself I would do all of the tangles that came along.
Believe me, mine are never perfect from the start. It takes a lot of practice for me on some of these patterns, and this one especially needed more. The perfectionist in me also wants all of the patterns to look even on both sides, but I try to not worry too much about it. I hope you're enjoying Inktober! 🥰❤
I love the way you teach ❤
🥰❤ Thank you so much!

That's awesome! My dad used to have a radio on talk shows in the morning. My mom had a stereo and she loved to dance. Definitely good memories. 🥰❤❤

Tortilla-!!! hahaha

The names of them ---------- is ridiculous. lol
I agree that some have odd names. I think this one was named after the Amplion radio that had the pattern on the speaker.
