Man as a Lions fan these haven’t been the best few weeks lol, but I genuinely am happy Elks fans are getting wins finally. The CFL is just so fun to watch.
When I finally got home last night and turned on the game that was the first play I saw. I thought wow I am glad I wasn't 2 minutes later, best pick of the year so far.
The Elks have found the needed rhythm, looking good. One thing needs to change for the Elks. They need a new kicker. Bede is not improving at all. Hope Ford is ok and back next week. He is fun to watch. Thanks for the highlights, CFL. 🇨🇦
I would say Bede hitting 50-yarders is still something to hang onto. I wouldn't change the kicker at this late juncture. QB is a whole different matter; Bethel-Thompson had to be removed from starting position. Ford is fantastic; had been since he entered the Hamilton game, and the big reason why Edmonton has won two in a row and the Elks clawed back 21 points vs Hamilton in the 4th quarter.

It was brutal! And done in a flash so the refs missed it, hard to blame them. Command got a call right! 2-4 this week? 😡😡 after some dreadful, game altering bad calls.
Hi Romulus here. Just want to say congrats to the Elk. Great win. Got whiskey drunk watching the game with my cousins. I also want to say I really like the Elk helmet with that extra large EE on it. That is so cool and so in your face. To the people still complaining about losing your name. Go stare at that extra large EE helmet for a while and suck it. The Elk are for real. Peace.

Great that these highlight packages are online. I really wish the CFL would make games available to stream. I cut the cord, and can get everything else, except the CFL... They need a "Sunday ticket" type of offering.
Elks look impressive since the coaching change. BC is definitely not the same team without Vernon Adams. On a side note....how has the BC kicker Whyte not been picked off by the NFL? He is better than 29 or 30 of 32 NFL kickers.

Finally Elks are looking like a decent team. They figured out the way to not lose games anymore. And recent changes to the squad are the reason why Elks are doing so good. Javon Leake as an RB, Tre Ford as a QB... But Lions... from 5-1 start to a 3 game losing streak. Not good.
Esks used to fill that stadium regularly. Now with a higher population, we get this. Maybe it was a mistake to pander to the non fans and chase away your actual paying customers.

The pass interference calls in the CFL are ridiculous. If a defender just touches a receiver standing somewhere he’s called for pass interference. I can see it if he’s obstructing the receivers movement in some way, but really just being there to block a reception is over the top. Let the players play the game.
