Thank you, Jenny :-) As to the last loop, you simply thread the tail through that loop and pull it tight to secure the yarn. Here's a link to the photo tutorial about this technique - www.10rowsaday.com/bindoff-without-yarn I hope you'll find it helpful. Happy knitting!
As always Maryna your tips never disappoint. I’m about to bind off a shawl that I’m actually playing yarn chicken with. I want to use up as much yarn as I can on the shawl and this may be the perfect way. I don’t think I need a very stretchy bind off for it.
Found this because I ran out of yarn on the last row and it's fantastic! I think better than a normal bind off, thank you!
You are very welcome, Rosie :-) Happy knitting!
Amazing thanks I'm so impressed! I would like to see what I do with the final loop? Where is ends what do I do next? :)

I've used this type of bind off when I Haven't had enough yarn to do a traditional bind off. Thank you for sharing.

Will the first method of bind off give you an edge that is not so elastic
Hi Sandra, This bind off is not elastic. It is about as stretchy as the regular bind off. Happy knitting :-)
