Your awesome! Everyone else seems to think we care about what they had for breakfast and why they picked a blue shirt and shit ! We don't! We clicked on a video to find out about scooters and thankfully thats all you talk about and all you show! So this is awesome and very helpful ! Thanks
Great video, I just bought a 2001 vino a week ago. 2 questions 1) why do we need to take the tip off the spark plug? 2) what kind of gear oil weigh did you used? Thank you very much.
The boot that connects to the spark plug requires the raw threaded post of the spark plug without the screw-on end. If you try to put a spark plug in without removing the plug's screw-on end, the boot simply won't fit on to the plug because the tip of the spark plug is too wide.
Thank you for all your help here, so I just bought an 06 50cc yesterday and I have no manual and I have no idea if this is a 2-stroke or a 4-stroke model, how do you know if it's two stroke or 4-stroke
Liked and subscribed. Can you explain the starting method after sitting? Ours will never start after sitting all winter but after about 100 kicks I can usually get it going. Just like my Zuma. About 100 kicks and it will go, even on a dead battery. The vino however will not start this year. We put a new battery in it, and it has spark to the plug, but not getting fuel. I can't get the air box apart or even removed as all the screws are apparently corroded so I can't gain access to the air filter either. But what was that tube or hole you were talking about putting your finger on while kicking?
Thank you for the video so helpful for DIY. Hoping you can help me out. I have a Yamaha 125 Automatic Vino and each spring I take her out. I keep her on a tender and she started right up but when I turn the throttle it will not move forward or engage the gears? I changed out the transmission fluid and discovered it was very low as crush washer was worn but still the moped would not move forward at all. It was as if it were in neutral. Do you have any thoughts on what I could try next? It is a 2008 with very low miles.
I need to take my ignition switch off so I can take it to a locksmith to get a new key made. Would you happen to have a video on removing the front plastics on a 2004 Yamaha Vino 50? I can't find a single one on YT. Millions of videos on how to remove the governor though
Hey great video man. Question for you. Picked up one of these Vino scoots for the GF, starts and idles awesome but intermittently as I roll on the throttle more it will bog, I’ll roll off and the big goes away. It’s got fresh gas, oil in the tank and a clean AF. Bog means rich so I’m leaning towards air restriction but curious to see what you think. Haven’t checked the plug yet
Ya, definitely a air fuel issue. Here is a link to a video that will help: HOW TO TUNE A CARB / CARBURETOR (step by step guided) ruclips.net/video/rCo6dJAxi64/видео.html
Hi Rolling, I just got a 2005 Vino 50cc running after sitting for 5 years, mega cleaned EVERYTHING,.....starts and idles fine, but struggles to accelerate, and help or suggestions?
I really enjoyed your video, however, I did not see where is the oil drain plug. Can you reply or point me to where I can find the drain plug -- I have a 2003 Vino and have inspected it closely but then again I am age 70 and may have missed it. Thanks,
My Yamaha Vino is blinking the engine oil light. I learnt from your video that i have to add 2 stroke oil. But how much do I add? And do I have to Yamalube or anyother 2 stroke oil is fine?
Great quick video. I am new to scooters and your video helped me answer a lot of questions. However, I do have one more to ask: These scooters have a kick start, but I can’t get my 125cc vino to start with the kick start, only with the electric starter. Can you demonstrate how to kick start these scooters or what could fail that I cant get my scooter kick started?
First, THANK YOU! Got my Honda Metro rolling right! Now, I did everything here on my Vino, and it still won't start. Do you have a paid video for the carburetor clean out? I figure that has to be the only/last thing keeping this girl from running smooth again.
So why does the maintenance book say 2stroke/2cycle oil in the oil tank then say 10w30 in the motor? So the 2 stroke oil only goes in the oil tank not where the wheel is correct that’s only for gear oil not for an oil change. You don’t do an oil change on a 50cc vino correct?
Awesome overview of bike. Any suggestions of Vino 50 cc that occasionally to struggles to accelerate? Will run fine at top speed, then when stopped at a light, struggles to get past 35 kph (20mph), then after a minute or so, regains its speed. Thanks
Good evening! I have a 2002 yamaha vino 50 cc. And I watched your video about the restrictor and I took it off and it goes around 10 mph faster so thank you much on that!! Question I have is the push button start won’t work ( does nothing ) and the turn signals don’t flash like they should. When you turn on the signal they stay solid Would you know what the problem is on both those issues? Thank you for your time!
Yes, I’m pretty sure you need a new battery. You have no electric start, no horn, or lights. When you start it with the kick the charging system runs the lights and horn. But it doesn’t have enough juice to have the signals blink normal. I bet if you rev the engine the signals blink?? Get a new battery. Don’t forget you have to have one of the brake levers pulled to allow the start button to work.... with a new battery.
Hi I just bought a 2005 Vino 50cc 2T and I cleaned the carburator put a new spark plug and I have spark and gas to the carburator I also check the switch and work fine but my scooter doesn't star. What else I can check? Thanks!
Hello, excellent video. I have 02 Vino Classic 50cc. Need to change transmission oil but what oil do I use? I know it’s 10w30se but if you could recommend an actual one, I’ll be very grateful. Also, as I understand it, the oil to use in this scooter is Yamalube 2S since it goes into a separate reservoir, don’t use 2R, is that correct? Thanks in advance!
Hey finally someone that can help me to bring my Dad's Yamaha vino to a live unfortunately after 6 years i the garage i dicide to fixed my Dad's Yamaha vino but the only problem is that he lost the keys how can i started? If you can make a video or recommended others you tube channels it will be appreciated
You can actually bypass the ignition switch by making a jumper wire. I have done it on another scooter I owned and it worked fine just remove the jumper wire after you’re done riding it. But they actually sell replacement ignition switches for scooters online at under $20.
I have a 2002 Yamaha vino 49cc scooter. Currently building it up and going to put new exhaust, 70cc big bore kit, new rollers. I bought it knowing it needed a few parts. I wanted to know if you have any tips on weights? My variator drive face is messed up as well so I want either a good used one or a new one.
I really enjoyed your video and had a new question. Do two-cycle engines typically have some visible exhaust ? And can you please confirm that no oil of any kind is to be added to the gasoline ? I ask because on some small other type 2 cycle engines, there is oil added to the gas. Thanks,
hi our son has an 04 Vino and the oil light is on on the bottom left side of the fuel gauge? We've topped it up and its staying on? What do you recommend?
I think the stock CDI is unrestricted and the gears are pretty much limited to 40mph. I've seen forums where guys are running 45-60mph without a new cdi.
Hi I'm from Iraq. I would like you to publish a tutorial on how to open the engine in order to learn from you. The same motor bike 👆. And enable your page name on facebook. thank you very much

You just saved my butt… thanks man just got myself a reconditioned vino 2stroke

It sounds like the battery has a bad cell. Will it electric start? I’m pretty sure a new battery will do the trick. We have batteries if you need one
Rolling Wrench that makes no sense! The push button start/electric start does nothing. Kick start works and what about the turn signals
