Just a couple points: 1) Consider the potential audience for this series. The historical content could draw a wide age range of viewers and romance needed to be expressed without gratuitous sexual content. The two actors show love and devotion and marital scenes are implied and handled tactfully for that reason. Tan Song Yun and Zheng Ye Cheng are marvelous in showing sweet devoted love and respect for their partnership in marriage and protecting the silk industry. 2) I noticed in this series how well Tan Song Yun first conveys the emotion of deep admiration and appreciation she has for her Brocade Officer even before she then discovers her romantic feelings for him. These feelings seem to have a progression that helps the romance development more naturally and sweetly. Loved it! The love was expressed internally more than external - refreshing and so well acted!
