Imma be so real with you guys, I really was NOT happy with the original version of Palmtree Panic Present, so before I continue with any of the Past tracks, I wanted to go back and change the song to be more in line with what I really envision for the track. I'll continue with the Past tracks soon, and I will also go back and adjust a few other songs I'm not fully satisfied with like the Special Stage theme (with a likely full remake) and Quartz Quadrant Present (with just an extension to the song). If I had to guess if this were to work in real life, then Version 1 would be for like a beta release and this version would be used for the official release.

While this is a good tune, I prefer the original, because it felt like it was it's own thing, whereas this one sounds like it's trying to be the JP theme. The MM Good Future orchestral hits and the general happy nature of the track cause it to sound Good Futuresque; I question how you will be able to make the good future theme happier sounding than this.
And that's a completely valid opinion! The original was so odd for me, as while I do like the song itself because it is doing it's own thing, to me it didn't feel right for a first level, and it didn't feel very "Palmtree Panic" if that makes any sense. It was just a track that I felt I had to stylize more after the JP version in order to fit the vibe of the level. I'm definitely going to go in more interesting directions with the Past, and Good/Bad Future variations to make up for the similarities.

I have an idea! How about you, after making the entire Sonic CD soundtrack for the South American version, putting all the songs together into an album? I have an interesting idea that you only show the intro and credits on this album.
Torrent 64, I don't know if you're going to read this but I have an idea for the intro music and the credits music!What if you try to hire the lost wave singer "feels like a wish"? I don't know if it will be difficult or not to hire him but that would be cool! You could also try to hire another Brazilian to sing the intro and credits (Let it not be me, my voice is horrible)

The first version seemed more like a song from the bad future. It wasn't quite happy like the Japanese version!
Hence my dislike for it after listening to it so many times over. It didn't feel like it had the vibe that I really wanted!
