Awe how cute, Elaine! I bet that is so adorable, post it in the Facebook group and tag me (Rachel), I wanna see it! Thanks dear, you have a fantastic day :)
Makers Gonna Learn I don’t have a picture of it on my nails. Can’t find it, anyway. I did find the extra one I had made that my grandson stuck to a charging plug. Not quite the same thing!
Instead of using regular vinyl there is a self-weeding vinyl that you use with a laser printer. So what you do is print your design on up to 17 different colors of vinyl. The vinyl is sensitive to toner such that when you go to weed it only the areas that were printed with black toner will be left behind. You can print in full color with a color laser printer, but it is the black toner that holds the magic. Another way you can do this to avoid all the nit picky weeding hassles is to print on water slide decals. If you're going to use an inkjet printer be mindful to use one that is pigmented inks. Because dye based inks are going to get all runny as soon as they get wet. Pigmented inks are nearly waterproof, highly fade resistant, smudge proof. Another way to do it to get laser compatible decal paper. Toner is nothing more than colored fine particles of plastic that gets heated, melted, pressed onto whatever you are printing. They may produce a waxy feel. For either pigmented or toner water slide decals you're still going to need the top coat to help keep the image from chipping off from normal abrasion. But if you don't want to align teeny little prints one other thing you can do is print off an entire sheet of a busy, colorful, abstract image. Like something trippy, psychedelic, fractals for instance. Then use the digital cutter to cut out your finger nail shapes from the printable decal, water slide, printable vinyl.
Thank you for this. I was thinking of selling my cricut machine because it's just been sitting there for over a year but now I have something to try 🙂. Thanks
Off topic. Can you do a video with PolyGloss Sublimation Coating to see if it works with Cricut Infusable Ink on shirts, tumblers, and mugs? If it does, this would be a great way to use non specific products with infusable ink. Also, can infusable ink be used with the oven method on tumblers?
I may have missed it, but is there a specific blade and setting for this such as washi sheet that you put it on? Please let me know. I do enjoy and share your videos.

So wouldn’t you automatically need your nails dry to apply the vinyl? I figure the polish will smudge??? Also, how would you remove it and what type of vinyl? Thank you so much!!
You would paint your nails, allow them do dry, then apply the vinyl. I did mention this :) Then you would use a clear topcoat to seal it in. This is Oracal 651 vinyl, and will all come off easily with regular nail polish remover. Hope this helps!
I find I have the worst time cutting small stuff with my explore air 2.. what can I do differently? Even weeding super small things is a pain and I mess up multiple times
Questoon with the cricut Joy, it wouldn't let me print out my designs, does the Cricut Joy need to be at a certain setting, or grouped or welded together i heard you mention that

I signed up and loving the variety! Quick question? Any time it’s a print and cut, it looks for a air printer which I don’t have? What do I do with that???? Plz help!
Make sure you're using a good quality vinyl, and that your blade is new, that your Cricut is set to the correct cut setting, and that you're not using "more pressure" or "fast mode" :) Best of luck!
If you use a brand new blade, it should be fine. I've been using the cheap vinyl sheets that aren't Cricut brand and with a new blade, they cut perfectly. You should also make sure that your design isn't too detailed or else it might not cut the way you want it. My decals are usually 0.2 inches each in width. I find anything smaller than that is too small for detail. Star shapes work really well at 0.2 inches
Depends on the membership tier you want! :) We recommend the Yearly membership because you get the most perks and it's the cheapest tier! It is $191.99 for a WHOLE YEAR of our cut files, fonts, printable guides, member only Facebook group, and free commercial license! You will LOVE it! www.makersgonnalearn.com/join/

You are so welcome!
Omg love this. And when I saw the paw print my heart 💔 I just lost my fur baby of 14 years and now I will make a decal for him on my nails.
Aww! So sorry for your loss. The loss of any fur baby is terrible.

Thank you!
Thanks. Been waiting for a tutorial on this. ❣️
We're so glad you enjoyed it!!!
What type of vinyl do you use?
Can this method work with nail polish stripes? Such as color street nails.
Love it! Thanks!

Great suggestion! Thank you! Also, we have not tested that method with the tumbler and Infusible Ink, another fun suggestion!
Do you guys have a video on how to Maher the nail and how to put the megerments on the cricut design space
We explain in this video how to measure the nail and change the size in Design Space :)
@@MakersGonnaLearn I don’t see the part where she measure the nail
Love this tutorial!
Thanks
How would you package these to sell?
Cute idea.
But how would you take the vinyl off when you're ready for a new manicure?
It will come off easily with the nail polish remover :)
Where do you buy your masking transfer tape at ? Please
Here's the link for the Masking Paper Transfer Tape: amzn.to/2JPS1Tv
I may have missed it, but is there a specific blade and setting for this such as washi sheet that you put it on? Please let me know. I do enjoy and share your videos.
This is regular vinyl, not washi, so it was on the regular vinyl setting :) Thank you so much for your kind words!
My pawprint does not show up as layers to weld. What am I doing wrong? It cuts out in all different pieces. Thank you.
When you say you use regular Vinyl, does that just mean adhesive vinyl???
I have the cricut Joy, Do you think I'm gonna be available to do this project with it? I'm new with this Cricut community. Thanks!!
yes, you can totally do this with the Joy! Also, welcome to the Cricut family!
I'm learning to make merchandise for my store if I join am I allowed to use these designs.

Do you know if cricut joy can cut tiny images for nails.
it sure will
Could I please get the size of the nail decal
I find I have the worst time cutting small stuff with my explore air 2.. what can I do differently? Even weeding super small things is a pain and I mess up multiple times
These are soo cute! I can't wait to make some!
Thank you for watching and commenting!
Wow ! I’d never thought of doing things SO tiny.. gel polish would make that quick..
it's true!
Questoon with the cricut Joy, it wouldn't let me print out my designs, does the Cricut Joy need to be at a certain setting, or grouped or welded together i heard you mention that
The Cricut is a cutting machine, not a printer :) Please Attach or weld your image before cutting.
can you use the Joy to do this?
Yes! :)
could you do a video on making a stencil for nails from an image file...
That would be a TINY stencil! I'm not sure how well that would work, unfortunately.
Are you using permanent or removable vinyl?
Regular 651 vinyl :)
Makers Gonna Learn mahalo 🤙🏽

I signed up and loving the variety! Quick question? Any time it’s a print and cut, it looks for a air printer which I don’t have? What do I do with that???? Plz help!
How the heck do you get it actually CUT without pulling everything up!? I've tried several times & my decals just come separated from the vinyl 😔😔
When I try and cut them they just get all shredded and what not while it's cutting
Make sure you're using a good quality vinyl, and that your blade is new, that your Cricut is set to the correct cut setting, and that you're not using "more pressure" or "fast mode" :) Best of luck!

Won’t you risk getting dirt and debris on your mat when you flip it over like that?
Our table is clean :) We pick and choose when we do this method, and would clean the table before hand if need be.
Makers Gonna Learn fair enough
How would I be able to print out cheetah print ? Thanks!
by uploading a pattern into Design Space and using print then cut :)
We didn't get to see the machine print the design...!!!!!
