Romanian wedding 💃

The wedding starts early morning with dressing the bride and welcoming guests. A civil ceremony and a church ceremony is followed by reception which lasts until the next day. Various singers and musicians perform during the night. One of the traditions is to steal the bride and the groom must get her back by performing whatever is demanded by the kidnappers. Our groom had to write a love poem to include the words lace, truck and rock.
Towards the end, the bride changes her veil to a head scarf to symbolize the transition to a married woman.
