I'm in FL my ex has gone blind needs to move to assisted living. 3 pk a day smoker 18 years in condo wood floor has so much tar you can scrape it off! Concrete balcony has black circle where he sat ans smoked as well. I want to try this method for smell. Do u use a mask or respirator with this? Doesn't show on video. Can you use these products to clean parquet wood floor? Any advice appreciated he cannot afford a pro. His girlfriend stole all his savings and left (as she used computer for him had access to all his accounts.) SHAME!
is this just masking the smells? how about actually washing / steam cleaning surfaces.. or better yet throwing out soft surfaces? I purchased a distressed property that had long time smokers, washed walls with TCP/vinegar solution and then sealed with BIN and painted, worked for all rooms except a small room in the back that sometimes (when it's hot out) has a musty smell. I think i need to get the 12 inch space between floors, vacuum and wash the beams..yeah it's gonna suck having to re-drywall and paster. Wondering if i can just thermal fog something up there that will actually eat or nuetralize what has soaked into the lumber instead???. I opened a small hole and with a rag noticed some yellow stuff comes off the beams. Just puzzled how smoke could have penetrated walls like that, even after i removed popcorn that was yellow too. The smell is very faint and in fact everybody else in my family says they smell nothing.. i am the only one who smells it.
In this particular case the walls were washed and painted. At that point what do you do? You Thermo fog. The agent I use is not a masking agent, although I'm sure it has some masking properties. I use a product called Thermo-55 Tabac Attack. Tabac-Attack from OdorX is designed to permanently remove tobacco-related smoke odors. Tabac-Attack deodorizes materials and surfaces by reversing the ways by which materials become malodorous.
@@APlusCarpetCleaningRedding Thank You - will look it up as well as that fogger. Does it leave a oily/waxy residue when it dries on wood? I wonder if I open some 4 inch holes in the drywall in my ceiling where there is a 12 inch space (drywall on bottom, plywood floor on bottom) and force that up there is if will dry without creating damp spots that might not dry quickly and mold? Does the product leave a smell of any kind behind?
It's used for many uses in the Trauma Scene industry, Fire and Smoke Remediation industry, Pest control, Odor control and so forth. Also need to wear the correct PPE (not shown in video)
@@APlusCarpetCleaningRedding The tiny holes are clear I blew into them, are you supposed to prime somehow? Zero fog on brand new machine I ran for a few minutes too.

Do you service Southern California area, like around Anaheim? Is this a regulated method? Have a home I’m purchasing and looking for something similar before I move in.
Does ozene machine work for you? We found this home we like to make an offer. The previous owner lived there for 30+ years and smoke in every room. The smell is so bad, you don't even want to breath in it. Please help provide your thoughts. Thanks.
Hi Erick Saavedra. I am using Ozone machine for Home and Vehicles. Do you think I should also use Tabac Attack after I have done Ozone or before doing ozone Treatment. please let me know ,should I use Tabac Attack in aThermal or Cold Fogger. Does it leave any Residues ? Appreciate your reply. Thanks
I wouldn't recommend Ozone Treatment on Tobacco environments to eliminate odor as it actually creates a far more dangerous gas off set with is being recommended to avoid. Professionals won't use Ozone for Tobacco odor elimination.
@@martijnvanlith3360 I have this machine every time a tenant moves out. It has eliminated all odor. Just need open all the windows and let it air for an hour or so. I purchased one home at $126k because no would even enter because the smoker smell was everywhere. We tried everything bit the smell was in the paint. After 8 hours of this machine, my carpet was wow. I purchased one of there more powerful machines since. If you do rental, it is a must have machine. This house now is $265k.
Warning, don't listen to video with headphones on.
Do you not need a mask?
Never have seen it done and on occasion there's a smoked up apartment that needs this on my end. I will look into this
How much is the equipment?
BTW, no mask?

Also, any way to leave a pine scent behind?
There's an actual chemical reaction that occurs to the odor molecule to remove the smell.
What model is that Burgers or electro-gen?
Do you use the fogger only for cigarette smoke treatment? Or do you use this tool pretty regularly?

Can I fog lysol ?
Can you use disinfectants/commercial cleaning agents with this fogger?
Maks Delgado No, the fogger in the video is an oil based fogger. I would use a water based/electro static fogger for disinfecting.

Hi . Can you add liquid Lysol or similar cleaning products to the fogger ?
yes disinfectant or bug repellant

I have only use ozone machine for all odor. Does this just cover the smell?

I use both ozone and tabac attack. Ozone by itself will not do a complete clean out. Also make sure to clean the AC evaporator coils.

Thermal Fogging is always oil based (At the moment)
