Slavery was always economics, paying the lowest amount for labor only to receive the highest possible profit.

Freedom allows choice, opportunities to live without making food, housing, or health a choice what to pay.
For the people by the people.
Corporations and capitalism are not written in the constitution. We as citizens are the whole purpose of our country. Paying for the freedom with our lives, as not one corporation will or has ever experience war.
At the age of 18 all males are required to register for the draft.
A corporation will only try to take more from all of us to buy their crap they sell.
As we are beholden to the country. A corporation is only beholden to the stock holders which alot are not even citizens, yet they are legally allowed to have an impact on election buying our congress members through lobbyists.

Then...Them basically getting mad at you when you dont do it their way- when you do what is right. That same authority oppressing you through your wage, denying you deserved and earned promotion, simply because you don't appear to be "going with the flow" of ignorance. This is what we call ABUSE OF POWER and LACK OF USE OF GOOD AND PROPER KNOWLEDGE. For they know that if you got that promotion it would be a game changer for all and everyone would be better off in truth and in spirit. They can't be tyrannical if you are coming with Gods goodness. You would take the slaves out of slavery and release them from indebtedness of the oppressive workplace. All this is usually is brought to light by way of an audit. They usually let the high ups know where they went wrong. I just say thats when we need to realize, not all places operate in a "Godly" way and SHOULD BE as they are our provision and protection, right?

I've been overlooked for four promotions in my own department and have been with the same company since early 2000. Annual 10 to 15 cent pay raises and the promotions are only for managers to relocate or hire managers from other companies, I'm glad they're struggling to find people to hire. Their greed has finally caught up to them.

Which is an excellent deal because my college grad cousin with a 4 yr bachelor and 80k debt only make $22 as a human resource manager working roughly 40-50 hrs weekly ... only way to advance now is to build my own contracting business or deliver something new and useful to society... or maybe to really push an aggressive investment strategy.

@@mysteryuser7062 I work at subway rn and things are very hectic. When I see the work roster, let's just say the list has none of the coworkers I started with just a few months ago. So since there's only 2-3 people who know how to close, we get stuck working as late as 11 P.M. - 1:00 AM (depending on the coworker) because the workers before the night shift are new, and don't do dishes, sweep, meal prep, or restock the line. And the 1-2 days we get off aren't guaranteed at all, it can be your weekend and both of your off days you get called in because 3 employees quit at the same time. And the type of coworkers that want to work these low wages most likely aren't gonna help you close the store on time (there have been times where we left at 1:30 AM)

What else do they expect when you’re dealing with bs from customers, rude bosses, no time off & very low pay? During Covid people honestly got the time to reflect what they want out of life, what’s worth it and what’s not. It’s 100% not worth it to work to live everyday but to live to work. Sometimes courage/bravery skip a generation or two and it’s sad millennials get bs for saying and doing what everyone else has been secretly wanting to do for generations.
