Kapit , a small town in Sarawak was once the breeding ground of the Empurau as the fish feed on the fruits dropped from the trees scattered along the river bank.But with developments,the fish became elusive.Uncle is smart to breed this pricey fish as a form of delight for pleasures of the table. All your recipes have contrast and variety. Thank you.
The 1st and last time I eat this wild empurau is 25 years ago...my brother bought it for few thousand for few pieces (7-8kg per piece) at his in-law place in Sibu Sarawak (have to book earlier with the natives)...at 1st I didn't believe this fish really worth its price as my family is a seafoods seller...it taste very superb delicious ...really "unforgetable" ...this Empurau really worth its price...Nowadays really hard to find already in Sarawak and its very expensive already if got..If got lots of money can try eat a wild empurau...Hope Uncle & Auntie Liew enjoys Sabah trips..Sabah is a seafoods heaven & got lots of delicious foods and its price more cheaper than most asean countries..

新鲜的鱼是不需要放胡椒和花雕的,放胡椒粉只会盖掉鱼鲜味,还有这条鱼至少1kg在没有butterfly改刀的情况下很多网友的住家火8分钟肯定不熟,关火焖会影响鱼肉的肉质,住家火butterfly蒸7分钟,如果躺着就11分钟,时间到直接开,任何拿来港蒸的鱼最好吃的重量在1kg-1.2kg之间,太大条不适合港蒸,我家里也是常年飞往东马,香港,顺德,日本品尝各类美食,河鱼当属忘不了,港蒸海鱼我更喜欢苏眉,苏眉最好吃的大小是在600克左右,刺身就要去日本吃一种叫幻之鲑的三文鱼,入口即化,我在日本北海道吃过一次可遇不可求,价格自然是天价

Light Soy Sauce recommends KAZIMI 3 years good. Add green onion too and fried garlic more fragrant taste. I would put hot fried garlic oil.

淡水来的,挖一口井储藏雨水,不需要放药,微生物过滤
不小心看了您的视频。很风趣很有亲切感的 Auntie Liew. 最喜欢您那句 “无所谓的啦". 放多放少,因人而异。 有一样细节就是,与其说 “500 ml" 不如说 “2 cups". 住美国久了,脱了英殖民地的 ml 和 gram. 同时,也发现用 一杯 (cup),一茶匙 (teaspoon) 或者一汤匙 (tablespoon) 比较方便。 已经手忙脚乱了,还要找个称出来量 meh? 纯属个人意见,没有恶意。很感谢 Auntie Liew 分享。

去sabah 吃过忘不了,当时一口一口慢慢吃因为一口就要五十,一百块😅好奇有什么特别。记得鱼本身就有一点果香味,它的鱼鳞拿来炸。我是怕鱼腥所以平时只吃三文鱼刺身,其它鱼很少吃,不太会欣赏吃鱼。。。所以我最“忘不了”的是他的“贵”😂
