The illusion is that he acts as he throws the red card but he actually rotate he's hands in a way that it looks like the red is being thrown but actually the blue is thrown and the red is stayed in his hand.

No he doesn't rotate his hand any way, it just looks like the red card is being thrown because it's on the top, or the bottom after his hand flips, and he simply release the finger holding the blue card instead, it's all about speed. No hand rotating needed lmao
Your wrong he throws the blue one that is behind the red one and since he shows him that the red card is in front he throws the blue one further and just places the red one down closer to him and then puts it in the middle and the other guy will think he is following the red card because the magic man showed that the red card was infront and the victim with think he is throwing the card that is in front (the red card) but throws the one in the back (the blue card)

For anyone who missed it, it's the way he's holding the first two cards. He's holding the blue card under the red card so while you're thinking that the blue card is the red card you're following the wrong card. Hope this helps for anybody who missed it.

He tries to make it obvious that he is throwing the red card, which is actually a blue card. But this distracts you from noticing the actual red card still in his hand. In stead of throwing the red card, he throws the blue one but in a sneaky way. So the red card is the second card he throws down from his right hand

what he is basically doing is holding the red card and throwing the blue card on the same hand first everytime to make it seem as of he is throwing the red one first. That is why he holds the 2 cards that way, look carefully

It’s “three card monte” basically he throws the blue card on top of the red card to make it look like he threw the red card, basically about misdirection

It’s a similar to the three card monte but this has a more Subtle slip he’s under flicking vs. having an extra blue card that’s why at the end he’s fine with his friend flipping the card over. The red card stayed in the middle for the most part.

Basically what he's doing is he has 2 cards in his right hand and he yeets the blue card over the red making you think it's the red but it's not. The red always ends up in the middle
