- You're talking a leisurely stroll through the woods when you're suddenly confronted with... a bird? He seems friendly at first, but then he starts chasing you down! You couldn't get away and now you find yourself in some strange nest with the bird-boy-thing trying to... court you?
I had intended to record and release something sooner, but a certain virus got the better of me and then time got the better of me. I really enjoyed this one, it has a bit of a weird vibe to it but that makes it fun! I took a few very minor deviations from the script. By minor, I mean like half a line. I also moved recording and editing to the MacBook, so hopefully there's less noise this time. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to set things up on this side and so thumbnail art is a bit scuffed.

Harpy culture doesn't seem to have a sense of "subtlety". My head canon is that to initiate a court, harpies carry the courted party off to a nest. Then, for a rejection, the courted party lifts up the courter and throws them out of the nest and flies away.
How he said that humans would mate with anything as long as the thing was strong and assertive. That sounds to me like a masochist dream you get to be with a creature of any sort and be dominant

I love how he comes off as someone who is really respectful, he just doesn't understand how to properly court someone. At around 9:50 in the video I really wanted to just be like how else would it sound to you. I was on a walk, you randomly pick me up and bring me to your nest when I don't know you, and you sing me a song that basically says that if I try to leave I'll die so, tough luck. Of course I would consider it a threat, you should have tried talking to me first and courted me properly.
