Thanks for the links!
Thanks for your video!
or on Amazon
@@huckleberrycarignan9745 Yeah, if you take shipping costs into account, Amazon is probably preferable if you have Prime and/or live in Europe.
Thanks reviewing this - I'm going to pick it up
After watching this last night I immediately went and bought it!
Oh nice!
I love both computer games and book games 😊😊😊😊😊
Instantly thought of the movie "What Lies Beneath" and thought this was an RPG of that lol
What a coincidence, I just added this game to my Amazon wish list today. Thanks, Daniel for the video.
Love Jason Glover's art as always! This looks great! The little dexterity mini-game is really interesting.
Love the dexterity mini games :D
Thank you! Me and my kids are halfway through Warlock of Firetop Mountain. This books seems to have more action and variety.
Yes! It does. I think you'll really like it.
Games like this are great for when traveling you just use the book and use digital dice app to make things easier with less carrying stuff around, record stuff on your phone notes or write it down. Be great on a plane trip or a long bus trip.
Thanks. Good timing - was considering this on PnP Arcade just yesterday.
Looks like an interesting take on the game book. Thanks for showing it to us. Love the mini lamp you have for ambience.
i'll probably buy!!! thanks, very interesting!!
This looks great. Thanks for sharing Daniel! You rock
My pleasure!
Hey Daniel! This is a pretty cool type of RPG/narrative dungeon crawler that I've personally never tried before. Also, love Jason Glovers art so great place to start (excited to have all the Iron Helm content on order with the current Crowd Sale for his new promo pack) - any other books like this you'd recommend?
I like the little jingle at the start of your videos. What is it from? I checked the description but I didn't see anything. Thanks!
I write and record them. There are a few jingles that rotate.
Totoro must instantly acquire.
It's a good one.
And for the stupidest question of the day - how could you modify the dexterity test for digital dice?
The alternate dexterity rules in the book work for digital.
@@TheDungeonDive Thanks! I picked it up, but haven't had time to check it out.
@16:20 you rolled [ 1, 4, 5 ] on a Wit-3 test. Why did you not flip the 1 to a 6 for a straight of [ 4, 5, 6 ]?
Because I suck at games and make sure to film my mistakes for everyone to notice! When I'm thinking of what to say, how to say it, following notes, and outlines, and making sure to remember the stuff I want to say about the game, the focus on the game takes a hit. This is exactly why I don't play games on camera! :)
@@TheDungeonDive You don't suck at playing games. Everyone makes mistakes. Colin and Briant of "Meet Me at the Table" and "The Hungry Gamer" have yet to make a play-through without a t lest a half-a-dozen mistakes.
You where consternating on making a good video, in which you did! (I am seriously considering buying this game.) And you overlooked the flip move. No biggie, but I bet you will not forget again, Amirite? 😉
I really am bad at gaming. :) It's one of the reasons why I don't play or like too many competitive games....because I always lose! :D
@@TheDungeonDive: I don't know what to say then. (Actually, I do, but it I have to write a novel to explain.) So, My response is: I don't see a loser. I see a person that plays games and make video about them. I'm kinda jealous.
We're all winners with a video like this, even with the dice mistakes : )
It not that i dont like this game, but to me, Twelve Years give more fun.
I think the two are very different. Not sure I'd even compare them. They both set out to accomplish different kinds of experiences.
@@TheDungeonDive Well, mine is not meant to be an unnecessary polemic, but considering that they are both small dungeon crawlers with single-player possibilities I took them both. Maybe just Twelve Years gives me back what I bought it for and this one doesn't :( anyway thanks for your video !
*Promo SM* 👏
I am going to have to stop viewing your channel. All these cool games I need to buy. I agree with you it is a cool game and having the added options at each encounter does give it a press your luck feel. Very thematic especially with the great added art of Jason Glover. The dexterity test with the pushing dice seems a bit weird, but whatever. Thanks for the brief look.
