Absolutely brilliant video man. This is honestly the first time I’ve ever heard of GMC Sema before I think I don’t really remember I’ve listen to so many truck sounds but I can’t get enough of this one. Will you please do more exactly like this one only a lot longer and include engine start up and see if you can make it ASMR style that would be awesome. Stay safe man have a blessed one oh, by the way, I just subscribed.

ASMR is just you getting in the truck starting it up and driving it and no talking it’s just engine sounds @@scatpack01 ASMR is just you getting in the truck starting it up and driving it and no talking it’s just engine sounds

Leave it all original that's where the big dollar's are alter things it destroys the value in a big way I have 8 5star generals work and show I owned most since new 82 thru 87 models

Hello sir! If you could please help me I am wondering what was the caterpillar motor they had and can you still get parts for these trucks like I want a gmc general and I think the 3406 is probably top 3 motors ever and they had that right? Anything you could tel me about the engine/transmission options and parts availability or necessary modifications to run these trucks reliably today would be extremely helpful thank you!

@@justethanol Parts for the cab etc that was exclusive to the General/Bison are next to impossible to get. The motors would have been 71/92 series Detroit's, 3406 B cats and 855 Big Cam Cummins, those parts are easier to source, the common tranny in them were 9 10 and 13 road rangers, in my opinion you usually see a 13 in them, some had 15 with deep reduction

@@RJ1999x is a two stroke legal to use today? That Detroit was a two stroke v8 right, and what about parts for the suspension? Are the parts for the suspension and steering accessible today? Thank you for responding!

@@justethanol I don't think you can actually run them in commerce in communist California.
Personally I would look for a Cummins or a Cat unless this truck you want to build is for showing.
The suspension parts and steering parts are pretty much generic of that vintage truck so parts are available.
What are you planning on doing with the truck?
