Hello Marcos, I have been using this hotel for many years. No problem to have a lady friend in your room. She just have to leave her ID card at the security guard near the lift. And yes , coming down from the pool you used the service elevator that was part of the original building. And finally , with the drink coupon you can order a free local beer at the restaurant in the lobby. Good idea doing hotel review for us travellers. When I visited Manilla I enjoyed having happy hour a The Royal Bellagio.
Good old Nana hotel. First stayed there more than ten years ago, and have since stayed there again as well as many other hotels in BKK. It's an older hotel, but if you spend any time in BKK at all you should stay there for at least one night just to experience it. It's part of the experience of roaming about lower Sukhumvit Road, lol.
I’ve always wondered about this hotel but judging by the easy access of having nana plaza just across the road .... I’d be bankrupt in less than a week lol
Good review mate. At Nana Hotel you've got a smorgasbord of freelancers on your doorstep, Nana Plaza right across the street and just about every other guest in the hotel is a fellow monger. Happy times!
Too bad I didn't have I time too fly around and meet up with you. Hoping for some Overstay Road paraphernalia for next Christmas....t-shirts, hats, mugs, journals, etc.
Thanks for sharing this video mate. I'm staying at the Nana Hotel for 2 nights in April, so this is very informative. Cheers from Australia. BTW is the hotel guest friendly?
Yes. It's guest friendly, my friend. There is a security guard (sometimes 2 guards) posted at the elevators. Just make sure your guest has a proper ID to leave with these gentlemen. Your guest won't be allowed to accompany you if he/she has no ID card. Enjoy your stay. Look for my girl MO and tell her Mako (Marcos) says hello. If you're sitting at the Hooters, you'll probably spot her at the bar across the way. Check the Neon Market Video and you'll know MO.
The Breakfast area is the most depressing area you could ever eat in, the staff are miserable , never smile and barely speak. You have not mentioned the terrible wi-fi which drops constantly during the day so shower pressure doesnt really make up for it
Hey mate love your vids, can I ask a question , is the Nana Hotel Quiet considering its location , I recently had 3 weeks at the landmark hotel which was great because it was quiet but next time nana hotel looks like a great options Thanks!
I stayed there several times over the years. Good location near the BTS skytrain stop. Very nice outdoor pool actually. Updated rooms are OK. The restaurant is nothing special. Obviously greatest location for NANA plaza if that is your only goal. Hotel is guest friendly. There is a tourist kiosk in the lobby where you can book all those day trips for dinner on the river boat, Ayutthia, and all the other touristy things. Some are worth going to, if nothing else to get a ride around different parts of the city that you probably would not know yet how to do yourself. Hooters right next door. Massage shops are up and down the street but they are not obvious. You will see the girls there sitting on chairs with signs. But their shops are in the back, I presume they can't afford the street front rent. There is a soapie massage place nearby if interested. Hotel corridors look like crap with old carpets. The updated rooms are OK. The air con was on all the time. That may be good as it drowns out any local noises. Depends on your room. My room had no balcony and I don't think any of the rooms do. So can't really open a window. I had a fine view of the BTS train just across the way! All in all a fair recommendation. They always had a room no matter when I showed up with no reservation and just a walk in, which two of the trips was during high season, when Thailand used to be busy, so I have to give them credit for that. They vary the rate a bit, so no harm in asking for a better price, a week discount if staying that long, etc. I don't think they are very flexible though, so don't expect much. All sorts of taxi and valet service if you need it.
great video mark, i myself am about to take a nice trip soon and i have to ask you should i just suck it up and bring a large suitcase an take the risk of losing it or paying baggage fees or just stuff what i can in a carry on and rough it out so to say
My friend, if you're just coming here for a vacation, I recommend you travel light. Bring one backpack. Most of the time you're wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Clothes are cheap at the night markets. If you need anything, just go there and stimulate the local economy. When you leave, give all of your extra gear away to a homeless guy. Plus, laundry service is cheap and they usually get it back to you the next day.
Thanks KM. For detailing Nana Hotel.. Does it allow guest friendly? Can I bring girls in without paying a fee?.. Does safety box cover a whole laptop ?
Hotel is not so supportive, horrible experience for us, we shifted to SM grande residence on the same lane near IBS hotel..it's cheap and best with all the facilities kitchen and microwave...
I have stayed there many times in the past ,,, it was always my goto hotel ,,,, right in the action …..

Where the screen on the phone in bathroom
I don't like the part that you had to drop your key so after your stay did you missing any things?
Thanks KM. For detailing Nana Hotel.. Does it allow guest friendly? Can I bring girls in without paying a fee?.. Does safety box cover a whole laptop ?
10-4 Forest!
Can you bring back girls there? Did you find out Mark
Whatever happened to Clinton plaza?
And anotha one!
Not drunk enough in this video
How much Marcos?
Were you able to bring a guest in?
this hotel is guest friendly.
I heard this hotel isn't too guest friendly, even though they have the freelancers right outside the sign. How true is that?
I would have loved to see the receptionist's face when you asked if the hotel was suitable for guests. The most infamous sexhotel in Bangkok. 🤦♂️
I love your videos But it seems when you get around crazy Mike you make a fool of your self just being honest take care
Can we bring Thai girls to our room ?
I do caution you about many of the old geezers that are staying there, at the pool. Many are pretty perverted so keep your wits about you
