      This tree was made as a special tribute to an amazing woman, my youngest daughter who passed away suddenly 3 years ago this May. She was my biggest fan, and my inspiration for starting this channel. “RAD” is the first letter of my three children. Rhiannon, Andrea, & David. ☮️☯️🙏🏻❤️😇

    Hi, I enjoy your video, question I am 72 years old. And I find it is hard to twist the main trunk. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks

      Hi! This is an issue with many wire artists when we age. I’m 60 and have arthritis in my hands. I suggest a couple options. I use two pair of pliers and a paper towel folded around your wire to prevent breaking. You can also use a smaller gauge wire. 24 can be hard to twist, so you can use 26, this is much thinner and easier to work with. Silicone covered flat nose pliers are an option as well. I’ll leave you the link. Don’t give up! I’m very happy your here! 🤗

    How many branches do you separate for roots

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  2 года назад +2

      It depends on how thick you want them. I usually divide the wire into equal sections, then grab 4 wire, pinch and twist at the middle with pliers, stop and separate the renaming 2 wire on each side, and twist to make the roots branch out from where you stop in the middle. I hope I understood your question and helped. Please watch the other videos to help you more, and play at lower speed. Thanks so much 👍🏻😉

    How does the E-6000 not adhere to the rubber bands or the clamps used in a different video? This could be a real game changer for the way I glue my trees to the bases!

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt  2 года назад

      Hi Lana! E-6000 will occasionally become stuck to the bands and clamps, but if you don’t use too much, and use the new formula that comes with a precision tip for easier application. If it does become stuck ( mine have); it’s very easy to remove the bands with tweezers, and the clamps by moving back and forth until it comes off. If the wire comes off with the clamp, just remove the dry glue, reshape the root, and use less glue to hold it down. Position the glue so it holds where you need (wire to base), and position bands or clamps so they hold in-place, but with minimum glue contact. Sorry for the long explanation 😉
