These kids shows were great back then but when you see them now they were one big advertisement. Kids wanted everything advertised. This is great takes me back! Thank you!
No shame there, broadcasting since radio went this way in North America. Other countries like the UK went a different route as broadcasting was seen as a public service first rather than a commercial entity.
Mary Heartline was a busy women back then She had a line of merchandise Dolls, boots, coloring books Then when this ended. She had children's TV show for a couple of years She lived to be 96
Rest In Peace to all of them🙏🙏

Do any of you recognize Claude Kirchner's voice?? He was the voice of all the Marx toy commercials in the 60's!!!
It's sad that a piece of history is gone forever
No more 🎪
Thank you for showing me a piece of my childhood
"Pappy says they all float down here" All live. No retakes. Respect.
This was real television.
Wow that brought me back to some Saturday morning in the 50s. Would love to know the date myself
Possibly the early 50's
I watched a variation of this show probably around 1958 as a child. It ran around 7 pm and I was put to bed after it finished.
Watched this show as a kid.

And she was HOT!!!!
Okay… the melody at six minutes in is “Serenata” by Leroy Anderson. Did not look this up. Wayne Shorter covers this.
Very good quality kine...do you have the date on this episode ?
I have some better quality coming soon in 4K, but thanks for tuning in. I'm not sure of the date. I hope someone will tell me. Thanks
Driving me crazy - the song starting at six minutes in. I know it so well but the name? The two note octave beginning is the title. Anybody?
