Bridal Mask is a good show. It can be as if a sequel to Mr. Sunshine with different set of characters as it is set in the Korean Japanese period where they are a Japanese colony.
One of the most beautiful stories ever told. The acting. The writing. The music. None of it was lacking. You cared deeply about the story. I was openly sobbing at the ending. Nothing near that has ever happened before.

Great chemistry and acting by the lead stars. I wish they'd do another series similar to this with a happy ending. Something that would depict a story of two people who are triumphant in their fight for love and in their fight for their country . A story that will show the two of them living a full and blissful married life. How about that?

This was by far the best drama I have ever seen. Just when I thought I had exhausted every drama option under the sun, this show turned up and took my breath away. It was beautiful in every possible way- writing, the story, acting, screenplay, cinematography- it was pure magic. It is so incredibly rare today to find a show of this quality, where the acting is so good and story so pure. I just finished it at the beginning of this week and I have been genuinely emotionally affected for days afterward and I cried my eyes out for a good half an hour immediately after the end. No other drama will ever come close to this one. Thank you Mr. Sunshine.

It's been 4 days since I finished this amazing drama and, like Goblin of the same writer and director, I cant stop thinking about it! The story, the acting, the character development, the music, the beautiful cinematography and directing. I've watched too many dramas for the good of my social life but some stories like this one are worth the investment of both time and sentiment. This is not a goodbye but a see you again, Mr. Sunshine....
What a great serie. Far better then all the same hollyood serie's. There is so much emotions and passion in this serie. People of koreo could be very proud of themself because of this history.
Just finished watching Mr. Sunshine. Everything about the drama was perfect. Plot, actors, cinematography, ost everything was on point. The dialogues were so powerful and the female leads were astonishingly strong. The love portrayed between Eugene and Ae-sin was the love that everyone yearn for, respectful, protective and immense. I am still crying remembering all the characters from the show. 😭😭😭😭
I just finished watching this drama. This song pierced my heart and it makes me cry so much 😭😭😭 Best k-drama I’ve watched so far. Although they had a sad ending I loved their love story. I am from Taiwan and the dramas' background about the Korea is so touched to me. Really like this kind of Patriotic film. This drama also interested me about the history about korea and Japan.
It's May 2022. First time watching Kim Tae Ri at Twenty-five twenty-one, her acting was on point there so I became a fan. I saw Mr Sunshine many times but not interested watching it because I thought the title was cheesy. But since I love Kim Tae Ri I gave it a go and boy I regret it so much why I didn't watch this before. What am I thinking? This series was phenomenal hands down. I've been watching Kdrama for 20 years or more but this one is easily the top 1. All the actors did a fantastic job on portraying their characters. In love with both Kim Tae Ri and Lee Byung hun. 💜
You and me both! I was never interested in this drama because I know it was going to be sad but after watching her in 2521, I decided to watch it. Just finished a few nights ago. Love love it! Now I recommend it to all my friends.

It's 2020 and we're in a middle of a pandemic but this masterpiece still was able to transcend and was able to evoke real emotions from me. This too shall pass.. Keep moving forward.
Mr Sunshine is actually one of the best series in Kdrama. It’s not given much credit but it’s excellently played. It’s actually one of the best of Kim Taeri and Eugene. I think 2521 was brilliant but people did not give Me Sunshine enough credit. It’s actually a masterpiece

I think ill never be able to look at eugene choi and not remember his face close to tears when he sacrificed to save Aeshin. I dont think id have the courage to rewatch this again because everytime i see the couple, ill always be reminded of how their love strory came to an end.

Its very painful to watch the ending. I literally cried when Eugene was crying with happiness by seeing the photo of him and his wife and when he was talking to Kyle for last time. His love for his wife is truly Amazing. Its just very painful 😔😭

After reading multiple comments here, in feeling so connected to everyone in all parts of the world who have taken the time to watch this series. It is an eye opener, never knew about the history of Korea, the atrocities of Japan and other countries on this sweet small beautiful gentle country. I'm deeply saddened after watching this series, but I'm glad I did. It is a masterpiece.
Every single song in this series is so beautiful, it stays with you. This one is hauntingly beautiful ,it makes me cry and then combined with the show. I can't get over this series. 😢❤ rise of th phoenixes and Mr sunshine are hands down the best series from 2018. Glad I only found them after they were done as waiting for new episodes would have been absolute torture. Will definitely watch again and again even with all the sadness of the show, it was so beautiful. And I really got to learn a lot more of Korean history which I never knew of. Gosh I'm in awe ❤❤❤

i just finished watching mr sunshine yesterday night and the ending got sobbing like hell.i knew something was up when the characters kept saying "sad ending".the whole drama is still stuck in my head , this says alot about how good this drama is .must say its because of the excellent acting and everything about the drama.
This drama made me cry so much. My mom is still mad that it ended like that lol she hasn't seen many korean dramas and didn't see the signs...I should have warned her😭 I still wanted at least one happy ending for someone but I guess it was realistic...korean people suffered so long during those times and even to this day.

김태리 진짜 연기 잘한다.요즘 배우들 보면 그냥 깡 마르고 브이라인 뭔가 특별함이 없는데 김태리는 자신만의 풍미가 진짜 역대급이다.앞으로도 쭉욱 멋진 모습 기대할께요.

어느하나 부족함이 없었던 고품격드라마.
2018년도 어쩌면 그 이전에 모든 작품을 능가하는 영화와드라마의 경계를 없앤 역대 최고의 작품인것같아요.캐스팅,대본,사운드,OST,복장,세트 하지만 딱 한가지 아쉬운게 있다면 실제의 역사와 다르다는게 아쉬운 작품

@@하이파이브-t3o 나름 역사적 사건들을 넣었지만 당시 현실과는 거리가 많이 있는 말 그대로 각색한 게 드라마죠. 고종만 봐도 그렇고 작가의 개인적인 바람들이 투영됐다고 보이는 부분도 많죠.
Mr. Sunshine 때문에 정말로 행복했습니다 별로였던 애국심도 생기고 ... 지금까지 여운이 남아 매일 음악이라도 듣고 있고요 Netflix 한테 감사드립니다

It's been 4 days since I finished this amazing drama and, like Goblin of the same writer and director, I cant stop thinking about it! The story, the acting, the character development, the music, the beautiful cinematography and directing. I've watched too many dramas for the good of my social life but some stories like this one are worth the investment of both time and sentiment. This is not a goodbye but a see you again, Mr. Sunshine....

Just finished watching Mr. Sunshine. Everything about the drama was perfect. Plot, actors, cinematography, ost everything was on point. The dialogues were so powerful and the female leads were astonishingly strong.
The love portrayed between Eugene and Ae-sin was the love that everyone yearn for, respectful, protective and immense.
I am still crying remembering all the characters from the show. 😭😭😭😭

Best k-drama I’ve watched so far. Although they had a sad ending I loved their love story. Beautiful chemistry between Byunghun and Taeri. This drama is packed with great actors! I’m not gonna forget this while I’m alive🥺

It's May 2022. First time watching Kim Tae Ri at Twenty-five twenty-one, her acting was on point there so I became a fan. I saw Mr Sunshine many times but not interested watching it because I thought the title was cheesy. But since I love Kim Tae Ri I gave it a go and boy I regret it so much why I didn't watch this before. What am I thinking? This series was phenomenal hands down. I've been watching Kdrama for 20 years or more but this one is easily the top 1. All the actors did a fantastic job on portraying their characters. In love with both Kim Tae Ri and Lee Byung hun. 💜
You and me both! I was never interested in this drama because I know it was going to be sad but after watching her in 2521, I decided to watch it. Just finished a few nights ago. Love love it! Now I recommend it to all my friends.

Mr Sunshine is actually one of the best series in Kdrama. It’s not given much credit but it’s excellently played. It’s actually one of the best of Kim Taeri and Eugene. I think 2521 was brilliant but people did not give Me Sunshine enough credit. It’s actually a masterpiece
De lo mejor en serie coreanas, muy buena calidad en todo, vestuario, guión, historia, escenografía, y que personajes!, mi favorito, Eugene Choi, con el enorme maestro Lee Byung Hun!!.
I think ill never be able to look at eugene choi and not remember his face close to tears when he sacrificed to save Aeshin. I dont think id have the courage to rewatch this again because everytime i see the couple, ill always be reminded of how their love strory came to an end.

Its very painful to watch the ending. I literally cried when Eugene was crying with happiness by seeing the photo of him and his wife and when he was talking to Kyle for last time. His love for his wife is truly Amazing. Its just very painful 😔😭
Really is beautiful but with a Sad ending 😭 😢 ... I cried much for 3 days TO.T. Cry cry cry ... my heart was hurt .. I was feeling as if Eugene Choi was my couple T.T. the train scene was uffffff T.T SAD.

Just finished the series today. The ending kills me. Sometimes you wish you can go back to the good old days, when they were so happy and smile to each other, there were peace. I think I will never get over the pain this drama gave me. I’m heartbroken. This is so sad yet so beautiful 💔

It is an eye opener, never knew about the history of Korea, the atrocities of Japan and other countries on this sweet small beautiful gentle country. I'm deeply saddened after watching this series, but I'm glad I did. It is a masterpiece.

Every single song in this series is so beautiful, it stays with you. This one is hauntingly beautiful ,it makes me cry and then combined with the show. I can't get over this series. 😢❤ rise of th phoenixes and Mr sunshine are hands down the best series from 2018. Glad I only found them after they were done as waiting for new episodes would have been absolute torture. Will definitely watch again and again even with all the sadness of the show, it was so beautiful. And I really got to learn a lot more of Korean history which I never knew of. Gosh I'm in awe ❤❤❤

This song is unique not only because of its melody and lyrics but also because of the addition of the music box melody at the beginning of this song. That's why it's called Eugene's song. The music box meant a lot to him.

미스터션샤인 어찌 그대들을 잊소..보면서 진한 여운과 마음속에서 애국심이 불타오르는 드라마였다.모든 캐릭터가 각자의 조선을 구하기 위하여 몸바친 모습이 너무 가슴아프다.이병헌과 김태리의 나이 차로,친일미화라는 불명예스러운 첫걸음을 뗀 드라마지만 회차가 지나갈수록 배우들은 유진초이와 고애신 그 자체였고,드라마 속에서는 낭만이 부서지고 일본의 잔인함 일제강점기의 암흑이 그대로 담아져 있었다.
한국사람이고 남자지만, 이런 명작은 몇손가락안에 듭니다.아름답게 그려주셔서 제작자 분들게 감사드립니다. 외국인분들도 재밌게 봐주셔서 감사드립니다.😭😭🙂

i just finished watching mr sunshine yesterday night and the ending got sobbing like hell.i knew something was up when the characters kept saying "sad ending".the whole drama is still stuck in my head , this says alot about how good this drama is .must say its because of the excellent acting and everything about the drama.
This drama made me cry so much. My mom is still mad that it ended like that lol she hasn't seen many korean dramas and didn't see the signs...I should have warned her😭 I still wanted at least one happy ending for someone but I guess it was realistic...korean people suffered so long during those times and even to this day.
There definitely were signs. For starters, Ae-sin is learning English words and one "word" she learns is 'sad ending'.

One of the most beautiful dramas, I can’t move past this. Ever single thing about it was so incredibly amazing. From the storyline to the cinematography to the OST’s to the acting. Truly one of the best drama, I miss it so much. Ironically, to some the drama a word I would use is Sad Ending😭

istg all mr sunshine’s ost are so calming :( i just finished watching the whole drama and it’s so amazing, the ending really made me cry a lot. i came from a country who also has this kind of history, ppl who fought for their country and freedom, even risk their lives, i got so many goosebumps everytime i see how they all unite and fight together. hands down to kim eun-sook, all her dramas are so well-written. dots, goblin, mr sunshine, tkem

A truly beautiful series with superb acting amazing photography and very emotionally charged. Definitely a series that tugs at the heart strings. Also wonderful music throughout.
