I’d had mine for a little over a week now. I used stainless steel zip ties from Home Depot and secured the two top racks together for some nice cooking area.
Thanks Johnny! I have to look into it. I emailed them twice but got no response. Maybe someday but in the meantime I'm just having fun. Cheers brother!
This is the pellet grill im looking at getting. Thanks for the first review. Hows it working out so far now that you have had more time with it? Really thinking about this one with the sidekick
April will be 6 months with the smoker, and we will be doing an update 6-month review. I use it just about every weekend and I've learned a lot since this first review that I will be sharing on the video. It's been mostly positive though so I would still recommend this smoker. If you pull the trigger on the purchase, please consider using one of the links on our video description to help the channel out. Appreciate the comments and the view! Have a good one!
Interesting. I think the reason for lack of smoke on the chicken was temp. Past about 275 most pellet grill don't produce much smoke so you were mainly getting smoke from the wood chunks. Maybe next time start low to get more smoke in it and then dial it up at the end. Good luck!
Great video. You mentioned the chicken didn't have alot of smoke flavor and I didn't hear you mention this, but you also can go from 1-10 on the smoke level. Subscribed!
Thank you AlphaHeel! It was on 10 but it only cooked for an hour so it it had the least amount of smoke compared to the ribs and jalapenos that cooked for 2 hours. Appreciate the sub! Will do the same to yours!
I like what your doing.. Especially being a small channel like myself i am gonna get me one now fa show..Been surfing RUclips to see if it's worth it and i see it is..!!!
How long does it take to get the wood lit? How long will a full smoke box put off smoke before needing to add more? Do you dump out the smoke box before the next cook or just leave everything in there?
If you put thinner wood chunks on bottom, it will light within 5 mins. Depending on how hot you are running your temp the smoke box will last 45 to 1 hour. You just refill. No need to clean out while cooking.
@@AlLunacyQing thanks for the information. I have cooked on mine twice now and was wondering about the burned wood left over after cooking and if I could just put new wood on top of that for the next cook.
@@rickjames1246 Before the next cook it would be good to clean out the smoke box and auger cover. You will notice that wood chunks leave more ash then the pellets themselves so you don't want all that collecting in the smoker.
6:34 I don’t need no stinkin cameraman. This dude has got skills. ✌🏼🇺🇸
I found you just put the two top racks in the same track and it forms one big top rack. Good video
Thanks No Slack!

I totally agree. I put the chicken in when I bumped up the temp. Thanks for suggesting! Cheers!

Good review. Would love to see a test for where the hot spots are like a biscuit test or bread test. Thinking of getting one my self.

Texas!!!
Is that a gravity feed smoker on the right? If so you should do a cook off.
Yes it is! I am actually editing video of the MB Gravity smoker vs. the OC Pecos Offset Smoker but that one you mentioned is next!
Awesome!!!
HEB prime 1 briskets are great!
Yes they are! Cheers bud !
Grill looks badass for sure, sucks that you can burn yourself like that. They should have insulated that part or something?
Thanks Mario! Yes I like the stainless steel look on the grill but ya that part of the firebox is yikes!
great video,
Thank you brother! Hope your weekend went awesome! 🤘

@rick james I'm wondering the same thing, do you have to put new wood in every time or can you reuse wood that is not fully burned?
@@rickjames1246 Before the next cook it would be good to clean out the smoke box and auger cover. You will notice that wood chunks leave more ash then the pellets themselves so you don't want all that collecting in the smoker.
@Al Lunacy Q'ing Okay thank you!!
What size is that Woodwind Pro?
It's the 36.
Nah, the Lonestar Grillz Pellet Smoker is the closest you can get to a stick burner.
garbage music
The grill has a cheap feel, I would just get the lone star grill’s pellet smoker and be done with it
Surprised that the panel right in front of the cooking chamber was hot??? 🤔🤔
It gets very hot. It's a good idea to wear gloves when handling the smoke box. Thanks for stopping by!
