For those complaining about her being out of breath and tired, this was the last song she performed of the night. She was tired AF. Roughly translated, she's thanking the crowd for coming out, something about you could be anywhere but you're here and she's telling the crowd to lend her their hearts.
Firstly, she had been singing on that hot stage for a while, secondly, she was dancing while wearing a kimono - Kimono are kind of heavy. As well, she was probably tired. I still think this was amazing, and the speech she made before the song was inspiring.
For anybody commenting about her butchering the live: The best of singers face this after singing this long. But what's most important is that she is doing it live, not using autotune or backing track and lip syncing. That's when they get infinite stamina. The best of singers, including the likes of Chester, went through this. It's also possible that she screams her lungs out because she loves interacting with the audience. On top of that, this is just one performance, she might have over exerted herself.. It's not fair to put general statements about her singing prowess based on that.
Electric performance. I know this concert was amazing. To think I almost didn't tune in to Champloo years ago. I love this song the most. It makes me think.
@Salem That's what happens at live shows unfortunately. At least when she goes out there you know she's giving it her all. Heck, she even does better in some cases. That's a reason why I like her live performances more than the some of her studio ones. Best examples? Listen to the Step, T.T.T., and Imagine live.
Dang can I just buy a high quality audio version of this from somewhere? I just want this song, but I might have to try and find the actual DVD to buy...
