@@GoldfieldsGoose yes it’s a tough place to be from now until April but I love night detecting and pretty much have the place to yourself from Nov-March, a good air con in the van and 12v fans, loving your videos with your mum bro that’s super cool, please don’t stop making content, 😊
Another awe inspiring video, go mum go !!! , that 6000 really does the work for you, my 6000 goes nuts whenever the planes fly over or my mate appears on a hilltop 200mtrs away, so much so I give up, put in five hours the other day for nothing, one boot tack, one nail and who knows how many ant nests, decided to concentrate on getting my travelling van finished off, I am changing it all to electric so I took the top roof vent out, that was quite a chore, then tried to pull the stove out and had to go online to find out how to do that, I had missed one screw, oh well that's gone now, put a new sink tap in today and measured up the spaces I have created to put a microwave in and some shelving for my laptop and monitor with printer. Still no gold for the year, I will have a go at various spots down the Stuart Highway when I head for SA in a month or so. have a good day. Leon
What a great patch. Interested in those settings you are using. We have never run DEEP setting. Normally in WA murchison and Leonora we run high yield, difficult, smoothing off and sensitivity between 9 and about 18 depending on soil. Threshhold 27. What benefits are you seeing running deep over high yield/difficult. ?. we are finding plenty of small nuggets but think we may have a look at the deeper soils in the wash where a bigger one might have worked itself lower.
Its worth a try, I got sick of finding smaller gold so went looking for the bigger stuff with the larger coil and its been paying off so far, but yeah, as usual lots of walking involved. And I actually set the 7k into Deep/Difficult and just forgot about it and remembered after the find so thought it interesting, as I usually run the settings similar to yours cheers🍻👍
If money was no issue I would own BOTH machines! 7000 for patch hunting in highly mineralized soils and the 6000 to clean out every piece of gold from said patch's. 6000 punches deep too, but the tones are hard to discriminate iron/rubbish so large gold can be missed if you don't dig every single target.
@@GoldfieldsGoose bro, I was going to actually ask if you ig buying both would be detector nirvana.. You beat me to it. I do not know if one is Pi and rhe other VLF, but I heard 7000 is flagship. Thanks brother. 🍻

Do I need both the 6000 and 7000, or am I good for Placier and Patch? The 7000 just goes deeper?
