- Episode 1 of our new series, "To the Giant Loop Ride 2023"
One of the best days of the year is when @Crittermoto and I head out to the Giant Loop Ride 2023 from the Motorcycles and Pancakes International Headquarters. But of course we just don't go straight there. We take multiple days, tons of gravel, two track and epic tarmac to get there. We are also on a Top Secret Mission to meet a friend.

Super unique helmet cam. It looked like it was detached from you helmet by the way it didn’t always follow you helmet peak. Love to know your setup. Thanks for making a cool vid.
Thank you for the compliment!! On my helmet, I use a GoPro Hero 11 Black to a fixed mount. It always surprises me how much I can move my head around and the shot stays somewhat stable. Esp over super rocky and rough terrain.
Once you get on that double track there it looks sooooo good. Great meeting you at the event. When you’re up my neck of the woods I’ll throw Pancake v7.8 on the griddle for ya.

Drone shots are fantastic! What drone do you use? I also love the shots where we can see you riding by. Im sure they are a bit of a pain to set up but youre doing a great job. Good editing!

Great video. I live in Oregon and just got a 1250GS. Looking forward to doing the Giant Loop Ride next year. Quick question. I looked for the Giai GPS. Did you mean Gaia in your comments?
Congrats on the 1250GS!! Thats pretty RAD! Thank you for the compliment too. It was a typo for sure. Yes, I use Gaia for most of my navigation on these trips. It's pretty great to just update or create a route on the PC and have automatically update the app. GL 2024 is a must do.
