The Whole Train! - From Southwest to Northeast

Watching an entire train was a lot more fun before graffiti (vandalism) and when the variety of freight cars with railroad names and other company's from throughout North America could be seen. FIRST TRAIN: High winds and a westbound Santa Fe train downgrade at Caliente, CA in May, 1987
SECOND TRAIN: A Central Vermont southbound at Millers Falls, MA on January 23, 1988.

Growing up on the Maine Central, my favorite color combination was always green with yellow and yellow with green. It use to be such a common color scheme here in New England. The Rutland, MEC, Lamoille Valley, and the CV. I use to love those yellow nose CV geeps, however, I was such a lousy photographer I never got a good picture.
