Great video, Jim. DM-42 graphics information isn't actually "pervasive" online, so thanks very much for working through this and sharing it with us.

So the full spec on the (LCD) screen resolution is 400 x 240 x 1 bit.
Similar to the old TRS-80 Model 100 laptop, which had an LCD screen that was 240 x 64 x 1 bit.
    Or the original Macintosh, a CRT screen at 512 x 342 x 1 bit.

Not to mention that the DM42 runs at 24MHz unplugged and 80MHz when USB tethered, and that it has 32MB RAM!
The TRS-80 ran at 1.8MH and had a max of 48 KILObyes of RAM.
The old Mac ran at 6MHz and had a whopping 128 KILObytes of RAM.

@@mokopa I think the original Mac ran at 8 MHz (a close friend bought one in Oct. 1984). And you could get it with either 128 kB or 512 kB RAM.
But yeah, certainly nowhere near the DM42 specs!
