    Decauville ‘Type 3’ 0-4-0T (Works No.648/1912) 'Lily' is seen on its first visit the FR, with classmate 0-4-0T (Works No.36/1885) Chuquitanta hauling a short freight train between Porthmadog and Tan-y-bwlch. The two locomotives normally based on the Richmond Light Railway were visiting for the annual Ffestiniog Railway Society AGM Weekend.
    Chuquitanta, a Couillet built engine is the oldest surviving operational Decauville in the world, originally supplied to the Rodriguez sugar cane plantation, Peru and acquired for full restoration by the Richmond Light Railway in 2004, while Lily is the youngest of its type currently in operation, originally delivered new to the Thessaly Railway, Volos in Greece and acquired by the Richmond Light Railway in 2023.

    Well that was... surreal to look at
    A pair of adorable tiny French locos pulling a little goods train but a full sized Ford Model T pickup? Epic!
