Great video. I love how you walk us through everything, your thoughts, what you see, why you make certain choices, and what the goals are for each action you take. This channel is THE reference for all things detailing.
I see you use 4 MK 12 sprayers do you mind sharing what is in each one and if it is a foamer or juat standard sprayer? I love your channel you inspire me so much and explain things so well. Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to make these amazing videos for us.
I am working my way through all of your videos really enjoy the channel. Could you please tell me what tape you use? I have tried several and it has either fell off not good adhesion, left adhesive residue or jsut was so thick or stick it was really hard to get around the simplest curves. Thanks again for all you do for the detailing commjnity.
Hello, i am on my way of buying a new polisher. Should i go for the LHR 21 Mark 3 or the HLR21? I really prefer cordless but i am reading on a lot of places that the HLR 21/15 are lacking of power and cant compare to the cutting performance of the corded rupes polisher. Can you tell me is this real ? Please write to me does the polisher has enough power to compound and do heavy correction like the corded polisher or is it just for a one step light polish? Thank you very much!
This is my first video watching you , i have a 2018 black raptor , would you recommend a ppf after the paint correction to help keep the paint or are more trouble than there worth .
Fantastic work and one of the more fun videos to watch. I almost am willing to get a black metallic painted vehicle? I was thinking the new R1T Trimotor. Bonus points we are house hunting in Fort Collins late in the month. So I know where to go.
For everyone watching, skip coating your plastics with a cermic coats. When the coating begins to fail it will turn into a nasty mess and good luck trying to get it off. CarPro Deluxe ruined mine and I had to replace them. They looked aweful.
Hence why I don’t use CarPro DLUX. Making a broad statement about all trim coatings after using one that didn’t work isn’t representative of all trim coatings. I’ve never had an issue with C4 permanent trim restorer in the 800+ vehicles I’ve coated.
@@OutofSpecDetailingthat is fair point but to me it’s too risky. Is C4 trim coating permanent? I love the idea of ceramic coating plastics but I won’t do that again. It was the trim on my brand new Raptor by the way.
Colton, your hard work and dedication to your craft is perfection. The Ford Raptor is concours beautiful!

Thumb up on all non-EV cars you do😎
Haha thank you! Out of Spec is obviously heavily focused on EVs but I work on quite a few ICE vehicles. Paint is paint, and they all need some love.
Yeah, because some people are triggered by the propulsion fuel choice.

Heck yeah! Happy house hunting!
@@OutofSpecDetailing Thanks!
What could you do if your vehicle has no rear wiper what would be the best product to use
That paint was actually really good coming from a manufacturer
putting ceramic coating on plastic trim or rear bumper... does it make it slippery?
No, its soaks into the pores of the trim
What if i have one with raptor decalls?
Work right around them
WOW! 🍺
I bet the Ranger Raptor would be a LITTLE easier to do.

I would charge $3k for this job!
