you are a designer, fabricator, engineer, inventor, machinist, welder (beautiful alloy welding ! ) mechanic, painter, photographer, director and you-tubist (if that is a word) . Watching you at work was so enjoyable. The finished bike looks great. Watch out, B.M.W. ! thanks for a great video.
this is by far your most challenging build but also the most awesome. I don't know how relyable the angle transmission will be, but I think the rest will prove to be near indestructable. The liquid cooling even gives it an edge over the BMW boxer engines. A very good setup for long distance travel! Also I am curious about what your next challenge would be. Since you now discovered the perks of a boxer engine I would imagine building a small 4 cylinder boxer using a an existing crankshaft of a 4 cylinder inline. Keep up the good work and keep expanding your knowledge.

@@empatbusi unfortunately ram air is not what people think. It doesn't raise the pressure inside the carburettor but negates any depression inside an airbox. Besides the forward velocity of a machine that is required to achieve even a tiny increase over atmospheric inside something like a tiny carb pointed forwards especially with a filter in the way is so high he would be much better off just building a forced induction system.

Your engines are getting smoother and smoother. You are absolutely dialing in to perfection the crankshaft balancing and cam Loeb spacing and balancing. I can't wait to watch the progression of this bike. I will watch it later tonight. I just can't get over that no matter how many videos I watch. The precision, Mr. Le Dan Freeform (Etch a Sketch) Millmaster Guy. The flat Mill wizard. You control and operate that Mill better than a lot of people out here can operate their own hands.

This is just incredible Dan! Congratulations on your build! Can you tell us the specifications of the engine, like the CC? I think it would make a great addition to your videos! Greetings from Argentina!
Hi Le Dan. A decade ago, I made a symmetrical engine out of a 150 cc single cylinder 2 stroke engine. In my first attempt the engine had one sided clutch plate and sprockets on both sides of the wheel. On the second attempt, with centralised gearbox and cluth. Do you have any mean to build such engine with two sided drive?
i almost had a heart attack when i saw that brand...MASH...it cost me so much to own my bike , break after break ...i am glad you changed that bike's engine with one of your making! almost certain it is more reliable..
I thought this was old and was looking for the next piece, so it is live. Have you thought of getting two flat heads, opposed pistons 2 cranks, pistons just far enough to raise compression. Switch cam/crank gears 1:1, run them as 2 stroke with some common low rpm 2stroke timing, seal the crankcase to make it a supercharger, .. linking the 2cranks to a single output that holds their timing together .. vibrations may be an issue. Time them so rods go up down together or one up the other down, is a choice, you may need a counterbalancer central gear as output shaft as well. Flat head no compression, this way you get plenty. At high rpm the valves may hit face to face ? Spark plug is an issue, make it a three valve, machine a shocket in the valve seat to make it a plug ... or machine a hole between valves and piston on an angle where a porcelain and electrode can squeeze in. Suz/Hon 3/4 cyl 2 strokes had 2 cranks, with 3shaft as output, nothing new here, just the cranks further away :)
Came here for the engineering awesomeness, stayed for the US mid-west 19th century saloon music... Which didn't last as long as I was hoping. Still great video
That is a very interesting and clever building. Can you post some details please? Donor engines, cubic capacity, power and speed figures etc. would be very interesting. Thank you for sharing.

Pure genius!!! That engine sounds so smooth. Keep up the brilliant work Dan. Cheers Brian. 🌝🛠️✔️👍
I think it's better to put the radiator in front to get better cooling. And flip the carburator 180° to get more force induction
It won’t run great if you force induction a carb. Not in this way
I am pretty sure he knows that putting the radiator in front would make it work better...
Too much air going to the carb, can't be considered the same as turbocharging/supercharging
is front side carb will work as same as ram air?
