- From Video LP. A truly gifted, soulful singer. I've enjoyed many of her songs over the years, but this is probably my favorite! Written by Jon Lind, Phil Galdston, and Wendy Waldman -- the same team responsible for Vanessa Williams' "Save the Best for Last." A rare, soulful performance, followed by a chat with Madeline Woods.

She is my favorite singer of all, and I never tire of hearing her sing!
yesssss
Beautiful song by a talented lady.
FLAWLESS!!!!!
This song has such sadness and emotion in it that I cry every time I hear it…so powerful! ❤️
Thank you so much for this. She is an amazing singer. I'm amazed she wasn't and isn't huge in america. She's so talented.
Talent is not what breaks through in America...
@@jdfodio Race and light skin is...in a stupid/shallow society like the american is appearance, money and power is always what matters...
Mica is a magical singer, and the host seems really nice too. Love the song, you can hear the similarities with Save the Best For Last, which is not bad thing. Can't understand why Mica is still so underground because her talent is immense!
OMG...what a great singer and performance!
Just thought of you when I saw a version of her singing this live on MTV's most wanted! What a voice! Funny to think that MTV cared back then. They would never play anything like this now
I have been looking for this performance for a long time. Thanks .
Positivity!!!❤
go mica xxxxx
Mica is truly a very talented female vocalist. She demonstrated that that she is an universal singer. However, while watching this interview; I've noticed the comment she made toward the host of Video Soul. Mica stated,"something you obviously missed in music"! She doesn't know her like that! This act should inform people when the eyes of the public; watch what you say! What you say coultake or break you!
I met Madeline Woods in Annapolis Mall Back in the early 90s and i got an autograph.I was afraid to ask at first because I wasnt sure it was her.But it was Her !!! Lovely woman in person, Wow!! Didn't think I would ever see her again, thanks for posting.
3:57 MADELINE WOODS was/is the finest and CLASSIEST BET host ever.
@flower040 You're welcome!
@illzlogik Madeline is a BLACK WOMEN!!! That sista had a serious body too!!
DAMN MADELINE WOODS WAS FINE. SHIT.
Like most americans she seems shallow...don't ask me why...and Mica said the basics here...americans literally killed/forgot their own 70's soul "old school" traditions...
