@Daniel Pearson I found a 1966 that is 1 owner in Spartanburg SC its red with black total original with 25281 miles The ladys dad passed 5 years ago and she had put it in a garage she had new plugs and brakes put on it, what do you think its value is?

The Speedometer doesn't work. Did not register speed when cruising.
A power steering rack and A/c and that car would be perfect.
If I built a mustang from scratch it would look just this one, maybee a red interior is all I would do diffetently. Very nice car.
This was my first love in cars! The fastback design just got into my soul! This is a prime example of the early ‘60’s explosion of what would end up being called “Muscle Cars”. I grew up in the BEST decades of cars!

@@chadcourtney9355 Add fixing the front end shimmy to the list. He tried to blow it off as a manual steering deal but its going to need some parts replaced in the front end.

I always thought 2+2 on the Mustang what's some type of performance like dual exhaust 289. But it just basically means two people sitting in the front and two people sitting in the back🤔
that's a benefit of the old mustang, 2 people can actually sit in the back seat!

Because of the fold down rear seat, 2 people in front seats and 2 people in back seats.

What's the score with the dash Nick? This is the one I prefer, but doesn't the 65 have the wide speedo and this one is a 66 type?

It might be an A code mustang. For the 65's, if they had round Guages, could be the A code, unless someone changed them out. The ones with the long sweeping speedometer were the C codes.
@@frankie4speed818 thanks for your reply. It's much appreciated. I thought the codes were to do with the engines. I'm no expert though. The dash thing interests me because the seat belt laws in the UK I believe are different for 65 and 66. I love the round dials but usually only the long speedo is on the 65. Hope I can own one one day 🙏

No gas gauge...fine. No power steering...ok. Radio is broke...no problem. The speedo is retired...who cares? Also......there is no defrost, heat or air conditioning. Deal breaker here.
