Checking in on the sheep and testing our electric fence voltage | Raising Sheep on Leased Land 5

In today’s video we took a quick trip to the sheep lease to check on remaining forage, check the water and top off the dog food. We also returned the two injured sheep and the remaining two sheep dogs back to the flock.
This video series of Raising sheep on leased land is going to be made up of vlog style video updates as we develop the property by repairing existing fences, installing offset electric fencing, rotationally grazing our sheep flock in temporary paddocks and providing time for the land to rest and recover after being grazed. We are excited to see how the land can improve with these practices while also growing our flock and providing a sustainable food source as well.
