Ah, Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa.. Absolutely amazing combo. I love Beth Hart on her own, I absolutely love Joe Bonamassa on his own, but when these two get together..Magic happens.
I ran into Beth Hart here on the Tube about a year and a half ago and have been listening to her every since. She's down. Almost a modern day Janis Joplin and Etta James, rolled into one. Her and Joe Bonamassa make a damn good duo.
Thank you for doing this, Joe Bonamassa (First pronunciation was correct) is the flag bearer of the blues for future generations. Keeping the blues alive as we lose all of the greats of the past to time. You can't go wrong with any of his music. God Bless
Beth Hart was a contestant on Star Search, she blew the competition out of the water. Some of her songs were covers and some were songs she wrote. Janis Joplin was one of her covers, she's been around for a while but you won't hear her because of top ten crap!!!
Just thought I'd point out Joe is playing a vintage 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard it's worth more than most houses. Upwards of a half a million dollars.
Thank you for this one. I recently discovered Beth Hart and she blows me away. Apparently she's been around a while but had a bad drug problem, which she has thankfully overcome.
They have several albums out together. Beth and Joe have been around some time. Glad you liked one of my favorites go see alive concert Beth is AMAZING. Joe Is FANTASTIC
If you’re talking chops Joe has Stevie covered. But Stevie could sing Joe into a corner. That being said Beth is a vocal goddess. Could listen to that all day.
Stevie had much more feeling when playing. Joe is a great player but he sounds far too sterile much too often. Stevie was much more natural and soulful. That being said Joe really shines when playing with Beth Hart. Her soulfulness pushes him.
That's my favourite song before they did justice to it.I love what they did, I think Etta James would be proud. And I also love what they do with a lot of Etta's songs.
@@ruinsane100 Agree totally, absolutely awesome performance and my god is she hot .I think a few of the young ladies in the front few rows weren't sure if they were straight or bi sexual afterwards ;-)
I had never heard of Beth Hart or Joe Bonamassa, WOW, that was seductive, they both at the top of the chain. Thank you for playing this song. I'am still shaking.
Just a bit of info for you on Joe ! At age 12 BB King saw him play and had him open for him that summer ! Google it ! And another Great Blues player is Kenny Wayne Shepherd !!! Any of it !
I first learned of Beth while watching a Joe Bonamassa concert on PBS. I almost jumped off of my sofa when I first heard her voice -- particularly when she screamed out those notes. While Joe is a child prodigy guitarist (specifically a BLUES guitarist) Beth is, for me anyway, on a par with him in the vocal realm. LOVE this pairing and there are lots of recordings they've done together over the years -- ALL of them worth a listen.
If you dig on Joe's playing, you need to check out Gary Moore If you do, I recommend Still Got The Blues...a live version would show you how crazy good the man was You'll also see where Bonamassa got a lot of his solo phrasings from
@@davhas35 Yep, I saw him twice at Hammersmith Odeon on the Still Got The Blues tour with Albert King as guest star and two years later on the After Hours tour.
In 2011 my husband and i were visiting Amsterdam. We heard music coming from a record shop. It was the song don't explain . We bought this record. Later that year we heard her live. She is absolutely Fantastic live.
I just came across this post on my feed and I'm glad I tuned in. Of course, it was seeing the names Joe Bonamassa (Bona pronounced like Donna) and Beth Hart that first drew my attention. The album Bonamassa references when he's introducing Hart is 'Don't Explain'. The title song is great, but my favorites are I'd Rather Be Blind and Take Care Of You. Great music. I'm subscribed now and I look forward to seeing more of your reactions. Blessings!! 💜💜
I just stumbled upon this rare diamond known as Beth Hart through a RUclips suggestion. Thank god that happened. My ears, my eyes, my heart, and my soul, are in ecstasy.
Prety much every concert with Beth and Joe is amazing. Watch Close to my fire (live) give it all that you got, and Black coffee videos just to name a couple.
He came to Carlisle in March this year, got the last few tickets available. Great show. I went with my good friend Mike who had skin cancer. He died a month later. We had great weekend.
I've been going through your reactions and really like the variety. I LOVE that you've done several Beth Hart, she is phenomenal!! I'd love to see you react to international diva Lara Fabian, her song Adagio (which she wrote to the music of the classical piece Adagio) is a must! From the From Lara With Love concert.
Omg one of my all time fav performances ❤️. I’ve seen both of them live several times but never together. I keep watching and hoping for them to tour together
I had to laugh at the reference to Jack Nicholson! What an amazing voice. Very unique! Some Tina Turner and Janis Joplin who was from back in the 60's and early 70's. The guitar was out of this world!
Thanks for introducing me to Beth Hart... I started a Pandora channel of her music because of this review! You rock man! Can I suggest that you do a review of Chaka Khan? One of my fave vocalist in her genre....
Beth Hart does so many great songs but does one he'll of a rendition of I would rather go blind please listen,it will blow your mind!Beth and Joe _I'd Rather Go Blind _Live In Amsterdam
I have only been watching you for a few days and I was going to request you listen to Beth and then I found this! Your reaction did not disappoint. She is so talented, check out her live at Albert Hall and there Is a video of her singing Nutbush City Limit.
My dad always said the first thing you have to do before you sing or dance, you have to feel the music. He was a ballroom dance instructor and he had a beautiful voice.
BEST VOCALIST REGARDLESS OF GENDER WALKING!!!!! Big Fan MANY YRS!!!! JOE B. was a child prodigy on the guitar, 1 of the best modern Blues/Blues Rock guitarist alive!! Love to hear these two alongside Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks (the picless wonder)
Wow!!! Now that's the reaction I'm so glad to see...Joe B and Beth Hart are amazing...I'm a huge Joe Bonamassa fan, he's fantastic!!! I'm a Blues fan anyway!!! Love your reaction!!! If you think she's got Tina Turner vibes, listen to Beth kill it on Tina's song Nutbush City Limit, her and Joe B, check it out

Joe Bonamassa has been critically acclaimed by the best since he was 12 years old and Beth Heart is extraordinary! Great reaction video!
Thank you for your reaction! I'm a huge fan of Joe Bonamassa!! Love him and Beth Hart together!!! Bonarific!!!✌
Her voice, his guitar...... perfect blues song
Beth Hart is always a revelation the first time anyone hears her.
There's a particular face they all get when they first hear her.
Oooo I haven't heard of Beth Hart before. Shes serving us some Grace Slick, Janis Joplin with a sprinkle of Amy Winehouse and I am eating it up!
Beth Hart was a contestant on Star Search, she blew the competition out of the water. Some of her songs were covers and some were songs she wrote. Janis Joplin was one of her covers, she's been around for a while but you won't hear her because of top ten crap!!!
I agree! I miss Janis Joplin!!
it's from Etta
Just thought I'd point out Joe is playing a vintage 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard it's worth more than most houses. Upwards of a half a million dollars.
snozbaries act up to 1 million, this one here probably cost close to a million
Indeed in is considered the holy grail of guitars. ruclips.net/video/wjm9Hr1b9-k/видео.html
Watch him play his 58 Flying V Gibson on Angel Of Mercy Live at the Greek Theater, amazing!
That's probably not his guitar. He likes to borrow "The Beast" owned by Bernie Marsden.
Thanks for the fun fact....its almost unbelievable...but I believe it...
Joe Bonamassa is one really great guitar player and Beth Hart has one of those mystical voices. Loved this video. Thank you for playing this.
Joe Bonamassa is one of the best blues guitarists on the planet. He can sing his butt off as well. This colab was magical.
I love that someone finally reacted to this song. Liked and subscribed!
There will never be another Stevie Ray, but Joe is not far off! Such feeling when these two get together.
Joe is Joe Stevie is Stevie that's how I see it similar but different in a lot of ways.
Her soulfulness pushes him.
scootbobb True comment!
Try Kenny Wayne Shepherd
I could listen to this a million times and still get the shivers up my spine
I nearly woke my husband up laughing when you said she was Chris Stapleton's sister. I love watching your videos.
I'm old school sometimes looking for something new and I found this. I AM A FAN. Oh my goodness!
You should react to Beth's song "Caught out in the rain" or Beth & Joe "I'd rather go blind"
Cesar Almeida yes yes yes, you are so right. These 2 are a true gift to the blues and a blessing to the ears. been preaching that for a while.
or her "Am I the one" live at paradiso a song she wrote.
Welcome to the world of Joe Bonamassa... you've got a lot of great music ahead of you
"Blues Of Desperation" - Get that album...every cut is First Class! IMO.
Probably the most honest review I’ve seen. I hope you do more of beth hart and joe bonamassa
I have listened to Beth Heart for years. She is beyond awesome ♥️
That's my favourite song before they did justice to it.I love what they did, I think Etta James would be proud. And I also love what they do with a lot of Etta's songs.
Bobby Bland is the first to sing this song. I feel the Bobby Bland version is poor because it sounds like there is a truck backing up in the studio.
You think this is good, you want to check out Beth live at the Paradiso, the woman was on fire, the sexiest performance ever!! hands down.
Yeah, Am I The One is probably the rawest performance of all time. Can't think of anything that even comes close, except maybe more Beth.
@@ruinsane100 Agree totally, absolutely awesome performance and my god is she hot .I think a few of the young ladies in the front few rows weren't sure if they were straight or bi sexual afterwards ;-)
Upenda Sana yes she is!!!!!!!
She is an extraordinarily sexy performer and she does it with all her clothes on, unlike your standard pop divas
@Viking That was Star Search not America got Talent. Too early for that show. Cheers, Steve
Two of the most talented performers in music today. God Bless!
It's so much fun to watch you enjoy music that I love...
Best reaction that I've seen in a long time. Great stuff man. Your channel is going to grow....FACT
I had never heard of Beth Hart or Joe Bonamassa, WOW, that was seductive, they both at the top of the chain. Thank you for playing this song. I'am still shaking.
THANK YOU 4 going back I was so sad when it cut off the last time I watched ur reaction I just luv watching u watch!
Wow,never heard of Beth Hart, but she just got another fan.
Totally check on Still Got the Blues (Live) by Gary Moore! So much soul in his voice and guitar playing.
WoW, this 67 year old Brit thought the music stopped about 1988, but this is a revelation to me. Thanks!
Took my wife to Toronto to see Beth Hart... bro you should do some Beth Hart One Eyed Chicken, LA Song, Trouble, Mama This One's for You
was there also. Front row. The woman is incredible
Just a bit of info for you on Joe ! At age 12 BB King saw him play and had him open for him that summer ! Google it ! And another Great Blues player is Kenny Wayne Shepherd !!! Any of it !
I saw Kenny Wayne Shepard and Beth Hart in July.....blew the house down!! They didn't perform together but they didn't need to!
Walter Trout is another blues guitarist that is a joy to find..
Absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every minute of it. POWERFUL. Superb👍

So glad you did this one. I love, love, love it and great reaction.
Beth Hart is one of the most under rated soul singers
She is... You see all these mediocre singers... win awards and then there is Beth Harth...
Youve gotta watch "Hiding under water" live at Paradiso
This is real blues! Joes Da Man! And the vocalist! Over the top awesome!
What a top man you are :-) love your reactions. Joe and Beth are superb
Joe Bonamassa is also a member of a Rock/Blues supergroup called Black County Communion.
And funk band Rock Candy Funk Party.
Thank you for this video Beth Hart is by far, the best female blues singer of our generation
If you dig on Joe's playing, you need to check out Gary Moore
If you do, I recommend Still Got The Blues...a live version would show you how crazy good the man was
You'll also see where Bonamassa got a lot of his solo phrasings from

Parisienne too!!
Andrew Law I see that you too are a man of culture
Parisienne Walkways is one of my favorites ever, was lucky enough to see Gary Moore with Rush in '84 dude ripped.

You have to do Beth Hart Caught Out in the Rain. You will love it!!
Last live concert my 89yr old daddy saw before he passed...Joe Bonamassa! He was giddy afterwards!!
Beth Hart and Jeff Beck at the 2012 Kennedy Center singing I’D RATHER GO BLIND. Beth Hart is amazing.

I had to revisit because this is so good :)
I loved the look on your face when she starts on the first 3 notes. Lol. Awesome.
It's very unfortunate that musicians like these don't get any air time.. People need to hear this. Been a fan for awhile.

Just found on U tube where she was on Star Search years ago and I vaughley remember seeing her. Then I just now came across her. I love bluesy rock.
OMG! that face he made right before the guy punches him cracks me up. And the missing tooth chic. LOL
Yes Dude this is so flipping amazing!!!!! true artists!!!!
To me this is the VERY BEST musical pairing in musical history, bar NONE!
