kind of ironic since there was no men's event this year at the 1st stop. I support the riders but its darn shame, i think timing is bad on there behalf. MTB picked up big time 2020 and was getting bigger through the years prior but got a huge boost on views in 2020 and 2021, i live right next to Highland bike park, famous bike park i think just about every rider had been there as far as pros, i even rode with Kyle strait and even met Nicholi. One day i was in the singles line and then this guy comes running up you mind if i ride with you and i was like yea and he mentioned he rides RedBull rampage and its the one and only Kyle strait. but back to my point the park in 2020-2021 was packed you would have to wait 45 mins to get on the lift, last year i went probably 25 times and never waited more than 10 mins. so there is def less people than 2020 but more than 2019. i think if they made this stand in 2022 or 2021 they would have gave them what they wanted with no issues. Plus adding the women added extra costs this year. I hope they get what they want cause they deserve it and also lol i have tickets for Cairns on Saturday for pump track finals and slopestyle men's and women's finals. I hope it all works out!!! Best of luck to the riders and myself lol!!!
