Great video to illustrate showing what the sequence of numbers are during a deco stop dive. I would need to really relax my breathing to get 77 minutes of dive time.
True. The manuals are incredibly poor in this regard, considering the importance of being able to read deco information. I've been looking for a video for Mares computers for quite some time.
No, that means the total amount of time his ascent to the surface will take. He just needs to respect the floor and ceiling that the computer is setting/determining. (the little up and down arrows that are flashing.) As he's at the depth for enough time, you see the ceiling number change, and he can continue moving up along with that changing number while staying in between the arrows depth range. Which is about a 1.6m, 5.3 ft. range window. Really interesting stuff!
I dont understand. When he is starting to go up it say 4 min deco time, but the number goes up fast. Do he need to go that slow? Or could he go up much faster like 10meter each minutes to decrease the deco time?
It’s because he’s doing a bounce dive simulation. He gets to 50m in about 1 or 2 min. He then ascends very slow 20meters in about 20 minutes.. (approx 1 meter per minute) extremely slow ascend means a longer deco time. If he raised out from 50m to 3 meters at 10m per minute, it’s likely there’d be no deco at all just a safety stop
@@spacejeff1681 I'm only OWD certified so air down to 30 ft - i.e. that's perfect for me. Found a used Gekko for very cheap so I guess it fits my needs perfectly. Thanks for the help!
Thank you. I have a Gekko and was wondering how it looks. This is so much clearer than reading the manual.
A breath-taking video!

At that depth for sure!
There should be a video like this for every computer.

totally agree,so we are able to know before dive and interpret and ask what we didnt understand
@@freshmojito yes ,ı sent an email to them...really it is important but lack of info in manual and too much long sentences.
really interesting and helpful! thank you
Very usefull....thank you so much..!!..:-)
Cool. How did you make the chamber?
Great movie. Thanks!
at minutes 9:03, is that mean the diver need to stay 43 minutes at the depth of 9.9 Meters?

@@spacejeff1681 I'm a bit late to the party - does the computer tell you at what depth you should do the safety stop?

@@mithrandirthegrey7644 im late too... :) Yes, it shows just under the ceiling icon, replacing the maximum depth display.
Thanks made
What exactly does this no deco time mean? At Depth 49m you Need 1 min deco? This Digits on Display are irritating
It means you can stay 1 minute at this depth without beeing required to do a deco stop.
No sound
