Exactly what I was looking for as a beginner! This video helped me a lot in learning the proper finger techniques. I am trying to learn all the major chords little by little so that my hands become comfortable and this brought me one step closer. Thank you

Hi, Jonny, thanks for publishing this portion. Here is some feedback for future lessons. You use too many words to teach already simple things. This is a 13 minute video that teaches nothing but the basic notes and fingering in one scale. Many other videos accomplished the same thing in under two minutes. I can only imagine how long and wordy the full lesson is, to teach chords, chord progressions, and the jazzy piece you played.

Thanks for your good instructional piano videos. I have some experience with the guitar and I'm trying to learn a bit of piano. Would it be a bad decision to cross over the 4th finger (instead of 3rd) to B (then 3rd finger C#, 2nd finger D and back) for the left hand D major scale technique? In my mind this would align better with the B minor (natural) scale left hand technique (starting on the 4th finger).

I came for this 11:29 and it's not even explained: how to play consecutive scales up and down.. the fingering changes completely and it's basically ommited.
