There’s been a Catholic Bible in a Year podcast available for two years now. I’m listening to it a second time and I will be listening to this also to better understand. If anyone else is interested in doing the same, it’s Bible in a Year with Fr. Mike Schmitz.

“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.”

The script is not based on any Bible translation. It is inspired from the books of the Bible. Better to read the Bible first before watching this.

But since god is OMNISCIENT, he already KNEW he would be UNHAPPY with his creation in Genesis 6:6, and eventually do a massive genocide of everyone on earth except for a 600 or 700 year old drunk named Noah, and his seven family members. Couldn't this OMNIPOTENT god come up with a better plan? Also, if god's plan was "perfect," and the humans he "created" were "perfect," what happened? How do "perfect" humans go bad? He designed faulty human beings, and blames them for his own mistakes. This god sure did do a lot of "speaking" (and killings) in the Bible. How come he doesn't "speak" anymore? What are his current plans? Why doesn't he end human suffering, and world hunger? What is god doing NOW, other than hiding himself from humanity? These are important questions.

The typical and basic atheist script and your asking why doesn’t God help and why is there evil?
Also that can’t God just get rid of all the evil? If God doesn’t get rid of evil then we can’t be good right? That’s what it appears as. Are you asking all those questions as well?
Ok firstly YES God could wipe out evil as easy as snapping your fingers. The problem you need to see that for God to do that “end suffering here and get rid of evil”, then God would have to wipe out everything and all thing’s he created, including beings that are like him.
Like us, we are beings like him because we are made in his image and because we are his imagers which is a better choice of words that image. We as imagers represent God and because we are beings made to represent our image which is of God.
This means we have the communicable attributes of God like; creativity, intelligence, rationality, emotions, and freedom, and freewill.
So 🤔 that’s the problem your stuck with as an atheist?
So atheist would you really want God eliminate one of those communicable attributes such as free will to end suffering and rid the world of evil and suffering to help you or everyone?
Now answer do you really expect that if we were to have just even one of those attributes taken away that we will still be like God or a imager of God?
Nope, God was also aware of that, when we were given his attributes, that we are not him, we are LIKE him, but we are NOT him, and because of that we lack, Gods perfect nature!
Which because we lack that perfect nature it also means we will abuse those gifts God gave us. See the thing is God knew all this when he created us.
Now are you going to say that’s not very satisfying and be like wow what a horrible world look at the terrible stuff in the world? Look at all the violence suffering and evil?
Well, the problem is we know that God did not intended for it to be like this and we know that God hates the suffering and evil to.
So here is the point, you can blame God if you want.
Now here is the “KEY POINT” to for you to understand, for God all the terrible things that would have resulted from that initial decision to create and make us was better than NOT having us at all.
At the end of the day God makes that call take it up with him.
You can be a proud atheist and say you would rather not exist then if that’s the case right?
Well guess what we have freewill you can choose to see how really dedicated you actually are to the commitment of that logic and stop existing if you wanted right? Know perseverance is not a guarantee its a choice, make your choice today. God bless you!

@@bvici22 This "god" sure didn't care about anyone's "free will" in the Bible, as he was killing someone on just about every other page. He's an extremely "jealous" god too. Also, do YOU think it's MORAL to own another human being as PROPERTY?

I hope you find the truth about who God is and you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior before it is too late. There is a God in heaven. God is perfect. We are not. And, there is a judgment day when we will all be accountable for our actions
