Somehow this is one of the coolest productions I've ever heard soundwise.
I had the album. Production was lousy, soft, you couldn't hear anything. Regrettably that's why I sold it on in the 90's for beer money.
@@duncanmcdane388 Yeah the album had a very airy production, which was good in a hypnotic way. Not for blasting at a pre-party, more for personal introspection.

This song with this wonderful and mindblowing video too makes me feel ever more nostalgic (of an era where unfortunately i wasn't neither born) i discovered this band today and I want now to listen them every fucking day, they're too good, god i miss true metal fast and played with passion and aggressive attitude, i miss that sound, that kind of guys, that glorious Era for us all where Metal where the first genre all over the world, what a pity this video neither have 500 likes, it would deserves at least many thousands, and especially it's a pity that this group, as many, have never got the attention that they deserve still today, because this guys from New York with many others from all the world wrote an essential page of Music History and maybe neither them knows this, anyway i'm too happy, and I think all us would be glad this band is still active again since 2015, also if their last work is from that year (seems yesterday, 6 years are gone, but also the 80s seems like just a little bit of time ago, but they were 40 years ago..holy shit..) sorry if I feel maybe too much nostalgic but these were really golden years, for all, and especially for Metal, more than a genre, a short word that means an infinite dream that will ever be timeless, I still believe in it and I always be, today's Metal makes ask myself one thing: "are we still speaking of Metal, or is just a complete different thing?" anyway, this was fur sure the true Metal, this guy kicked ass and I guess they still do it, greetings from Walter, Palermo, LONG LIVE HEAVY METAL 🤘🏻🤘🏻⚡💪🏻💖🔥

@@bestiaonthedrums Ah that's right, I wore a Killen shirt! It's an original one which I bought from the guitarist a couple of years ago. Killen is the band that, in my opinion, gives the middle finger to commercialism the most out of any band I've heard. This demo is a bit more aggressive, and their LP is more atmospheric, but both paths are trodden equally greatly!
We'll see what the future brings to metal. Probably another dark medieval time like the 90s was, maybe even darker times. The old big HM bands will in coming years retire and stop doing tours, like Iron Maiden, Saxon. It's just sad fact. The trend will switch from 80s is cool to 90's/2000s is cool. Then we see again who were the true ones. It always goes by cycles. Listen to Metalucifer, it helps.

I own the original pressing of their vinyl... I like the vocals on album more though. Its still one of my faves from my collection.
2 good songs, "S.I.T.N." and "Victima" ...the rest of this lp is totally forgettable crap .. musicwise not worth the horrendous amount of cash that's being asked for it rn (250-300€). 😄🤣
The guitarist's vocals is not much "singing" but he's got a cool voice, which fits well with this demo tape where it's so much about the overall coolness of the sound!

Now that's a nice generic song and video.
On paper the song is quite generic, but I don't know man ... when the video starts one just gets the feeling that this is some of the coolest shit ever made. And when the song kicks off it's just pure headbanging. Killen had a unique atmosphere.
