Have you ever considered doing hour longs of music from DX1?...
Лол жаль что игру забыли...
I need more of ur Deus Ex music, Im hooked up
Steam friends wonder why I have over 100 hours in Mankind Divided. Organizing inventory, checking the neighbours, stealing neuropozine for a good cause, and reading the hunderds of unread e-books, reminiscing about Pritchard while reading his e-books on the Juggernaut Collective. All while wandering around Jensen's apartment. Guilty pleasure. Something about the atmosphere that makes it bearable to loiter about, same thing with Human Revolution.
wow, over 100 hours... you want a medal or something?
@@DSG-farts-connoisseur I want you to shut the fuck up, and don't waste any more of my time. You're a waste of space and human trash. Now you can give me your medal.
Cyberpunk did what Deus Ex couldn't do techinologically.
I don't know who you are, but we are friends now.
I'm sorry man but there are only 75 ebooks I don't know where you came up with the hundreds of them.
deus ex is more than just a game or universe. it's a MOOD
Damn right
My mood is augmented
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
This is true, & what an amazing mood it is!
A great mood...
Best apartment in gaming.
Except when it resets objects after SM06: 01011000 (if you leave anything lying outside of the storage units)
@@MikhalisBramouell haha. Yup. I noticed that too
Mass Effect 3 has another cool apartment as well. It's kinda huge though.
Verdade
I wish I had an apartment like that, so nice!
3:08 you can faintly hear " Do you like our owl?" which is a quote from the movie Blade Runner :) Even the piano drop is very reminiscent to "Tears in the Rain", from the same movie.
I've noticed a lot of the songs in the game have that in them, at least the Prague tracks.
i've always thought that was just some sound effect added in till now. didn't think that was a voice
Solid catch! I listen to the Blade Runner soundtrack at least monthly. :)
It's also in the Prague: Překážka District track! ;)
What a catch! Awesome :D
I like how the music is more... sentimental and soft. Melancholic as well. The private side of Adam Jensen, the vulnerable. And I so love that he is into these cereals for kids. Had to smile when I saw them in his office too.
Mhm! The cereal also hints at his cybernetics: due to the sheer amount of cybernetics he has, it requires a really high sugar and calorie intake, hence why he oftentimes eats these cereals too. Wouldn't be surprised if he burns 4 to 8k+ calories a day even when resting.
Doesn't seem like we're going to be getting anymore Deus ex games, rest in peace, amazing series.
@@brettdown9155 Someone else is gonna pick it up at some point. There's still enough interest in the series. I have faith.
@@timothybeaulieu5103 yeah hopefully, there's games that have been delayed for longer than Deus ex, system shock I think had a remaster after like almost 30 years or so, so there's hope but it's probably gonna be a while before anything happens.
One thing that Deus Ex hit out of the ball park is it's soundtrack.
Just one thing among many.
Let's spend a moment to appreciate the fact that it's the future and they live in huge ass studio apartments.
Adam is lucky. Not everyone lives in such a place - as you see with just some basic sleuthing around haha. After all, his home is being provided by TF-29, a front for the Illuminati. Of course his quarters are going to be exceptionally generous 😏
@@bobpage6597 TF29 isn't a front for the Illuminati. Why would they need a mole in it, if it was their front? Delara Auzenne is an Illuminati informant, but TF29 has nothing to do with Illuminati.
music is like taking about Adam's lost life
I went to visit Prague because of this game. Of course it is completely different in most ways (we're not in the future yet etc.), but in some parts of the visit I had major deja vu - all the red rooves, architrcture and language. The ambience was similar. Of course, I went because I wanted to capture the feelings from this game, which I wasn't quite able to.
very poetic :)
Anyone else study to this music? I always play this while under a dim, warm light. Gotta immerse myself in that Deus Ex vibe: a golden age that is still dark and rife with injustice. An unsettling ambiance, but oddly feels like home
while i graduate from college, I still hear this music ambient for getting sleep.
The world is dark and full of gray areas, but this music nails that it's not necessary to put that top much into personal life, just chill in home
idk know what it is but this game and Human Revolution had something about them that completely dragged me in. I've never played any of the older Deus Ex games before but i imidietly fell in love with these two. Whenever i hear soundtrack from it, it triggers a strange familiar feeling. The atmosphere is just breathtaking and i love to go back to these games every now and then.
Imagine not playing original deus ex, you"re a disgrace
Jensen talking to an A.I
😎/🤖
Jensen talking to Eliza
😧/🥺
Even if people complain about graphics and resolution (they always do), the atmosphere is key. And Eidos Montreal nailed it.
I tried software like 3dsmax, so i know how difficult that can be. Makes me appreciate the work going into this even more.
Lighting and the fog/ smoke effects are gorgeous.
I don't care about graphics at all. Graphics are highly overrated. As you say, a nice atmosphere doesn't need photo realistic graphics. Look at Deus Ex 1. Look at the original Thief games. Look at System Shock 2. I can only pity the graphic whores these days.
I think Mankind Divided has pretty nice graphics though.
@@chakko007 yeah, atmosphere trumps graphics any day of the week
Must admit, I thought mankind divided was a good looking game, I went back and played human revolution and had issues with the graphics initially, but 2/3 hours into the game it didn't matter, the atmosphere and world building had me that engrossed!
I thought they were good
The atmosphere and level of detail is so apparent in this game. I haven't found a game since. It's such a rich world.
This location immediately stood out when I played the game. I must have explored every inch of that apartment. Lovely design. Thanks for the vid!

I love the apartment so much that I was looking around for an hour in it and chilling to the music
early days of quarantine I had this playing daily, the serenity helped a lot
totally underrated game man...
Been a while since I listened to this. It's good to be home.
I feel like Adam Jensen is going to walk in at any moment.
That´d be hilarious XD
This game series had so much potential
I hope more games can have such lived in environments. I feel like having an actual house does a lot to ground someone in the world. I would totally love in that apartment. It is gorgeous!
For years I listen to this play from my laptop or iPad. Soaking in the mood from a game I hadn’t played
Honestly, everything leading up to it was the best. Once I played the game, even though there are some parts I missed, it was over
I knew most of what the world had to offer. So it was hard to go back knowing that. Now I resonate with those who felt cheated from getting an incomplete game
But the world is and always will be there. And you never know what the future will bring
Mankind Divided was an amazing game. Prague was a better hub area than any other, even though I loved Hong Kong from the original Deus Ex game. It's sad we wont see a sequel for a long time - if ever.
Totally agree. Having played HR and MD several times now I'd go so far as to say that MD is the better game in my view, and it makes me a little sad that I'm in such a minority on that. Sure the scope is smaller, but because of that, what is there is perfectly realised. The Prague hub has more going on than Detroit and Hengsha put together, and the narrower story (stopping a terrorist attack rather than saving the whole world) feels more urgent and real. Here's hoping for a sequel or at least an intelligent remake of the original along the lines of FF7.
@@Habasi There are elements of both that I liked, but MD was a stronger game than HR. I would love a sequel and something new as I don’t think they could do the original Deus Ex better. With it being owned by a large publisher, I doubt we will see as much of the conspiracy stuff again. The mainstream media would not appreciate some of the themes like grey death/ambrosia.
Another game is coming...
True story though, love the style of the apartment. Those windows, fans, and high open ceilings.
there is a reason why this is one of my favorite wallpaper (Wallpaper Engine) . oddly the most powerful moment in the whole game . probably after the massive whiplash that the previous hour of gameplay and to be tossed back to the mundane reality of life . is HARSH .
Imagine if the ambience of a Resident Evil save room was so soothing, it actually healed you, the player- that's what Jensen's apartment reminds me of in MD.
This apartment is my new goals .it's so beautiful
And they called it 'poor appartment'..
Lol
I really, really enjoyed this game and only clicked with it after my third attempt. Kind of didn’t want it to end, and so much of it was because of Prague’s design and the game constantly making me feel like a genius. Combine that with an unparalleled atmosphere and soundtrack and god damn, what a fine game.
This track is like a scent of an ex lover drifting in the air ... while drinking scotch on a rainy, lonely night ...
Strange reading this comment. I've played this game after my worst break up. The feel you describe definitely lingers in this music piece.
Cyberpunk 2077 will not have even an ounce of the atmosphere Deus Ex series had. I just hope it will not come out as GTA-like as it is marketed right now.
Truth
just completed phantom liberty and man that game too has a unique ambience. But not that of deus ex
Gosh I miss this game
I'M GOING TO DESIGN MY HOUSE TO BE SIMILAR IF NOT EXACT TO DEUS EX MANKIND DIVIDED AND FUTURE GAMES...
I love that idea. I have a plan to make replicas of Adam's coffee table and the lamp which hangs above his bed.
memories..
such a gorgeous track :) the atmosphere it gives off reminds me a bit of carbon based lifeforms.
My favorite channel on RUclips.
I was reading Human Lost book by Osamu Dazai while listening this soundtrack. Truly one of the best experiences for a long time
Radio: AUG INCIDENT? AUG INCIDENT?? BLAH BLAH BLAH xD
Is that what they're calling it now? More like AUGMAGEDDON!!
cant believe square halted this game, and moved the team to that shit avengers game...
No matter how high a Prague apartment looks like, Jensen´s apartment in Detroit winning for me. Fucking fantastic atmosphere for ever.
He did a better job decorating it than his Detroit apartment at least.
In this world if you own nothing then Eidos-Montréal does'nt own Deus Ex. I would happily pay to see a crowdfunded sequel to Mankind Divided. Adam Jensen deserves it.
When I leave out jensens bathroom window I can hear this play as I walk around the ghetto part of prauge
I noticed that too, that's why I always leave through the window
What happened in between Human Revolution and Mankind Divided
Which ending of HR is the cannon ending?
The one where you destroy the base
Read "Black Light" by James Swallow, it's a novel that fills the gap between HR and MD. It's canon and was published by Eidos.
Do you like our owl?
blade runner
I didn't ask for this.. but thank you again!
The feelings stepping into this apartment for the first time was magical. Such a cool and cozy apartment!
Only thing missing is Lazarus Radio in the background haha.
Deus ex universe and the games are amongst one of the greatest ever created
Love listening and watching to your videos at work. I assume you record the audio straight from the game (instead of looping OST tracks)?
Well this one is a mix of in-game and OST music, so it's sort of an extended version. The official OST is a bit weird to me right now, it's all mixed differently than the in-game music which I think I'll use over the actual official OST for most locations. Human Revolution did the same, but it was a bit easier to work with. Mankind Divided is actually really confusing, but with a few playthroughs I'll figure it out.
Я за зож, но под такую музыку я бы закурил и начал смотреть на небо
Nice, good to see you're uploading some Mankind Divided stuff, look forward to seeing more.
Out of curiosity, have you thought about uploading some witcher 3 content now that your PC can meet the requirements?
Also, what sorta requirements do you have for the games you upload? I can think of a couple recommendations that might suit the channel, no obligations of course, you've got a pretty good sense for what's good, but if ever you want an idea or two, just send me a message.
It got to thinking that if ever you ran out of games, would it be worth the effort to start with console games?
I have done some videos from the first two Witcher games and do plan to move on to The Witcher 3 someday, but not for a while. Console stuff is something I have always wanted to do, but perhaps in the far future, I don't even own any of this current generations systems, which is the first console generation I have passed on since the late 80's. I also don't think I'll run out of games, I have a dozen or more that I want to do on top of the stuff I currently do, I just need more free time lol.
As far as requirements on what type of game I do.... I don't mind recommendations for games, I may already have it on my list. But new games I haven't played yet would be a bit difficult to set aside time for, I got several hundred videos floating around in my head on top of requests I have yet to get to. So someone requesting say from God of War.. I probably won't get to it for a really long time. I sadly have already turned down many game requests because either the game just doesn't interest me, or I wouldn't feel I'd have the time to focus on it enough.
Will there be no more deus ex games😔

Getting strong "The Long Dark" vibes from this track. That game's BGM is extremely similar to this.
@m.marietta_nielsen holy shit, so it wasn't a coincidence! Wow, it all makes sense now. Thanks for the info!
Thats because its the same composer ;) (me).
@@sonicmayhemofficial Thank you for your work! Someone had replied with this information before (you can see me @'ing them) but deleted their comment at some point.
No way the guy who did the Quake 2 soundtrack also helped out with this game too, you're an absolute legend mate.
Fuck i want one like it
Adam doesn't smoke, - so where does all this smoke (mist? vapor?) come from? I like how it looks but it kinda puzzles me
UPDATE - thanks for reminding me, yes he smokes of course (with aug lungs guess its not an issue)
He does, although I don't recall it ever being depicted in-game. In one of Human Revolution's loading screen art he's shown smoking a cigar while drinking some whiskey.
One of the first things Adam grabs for is a cigarette box. He def smokes tf.
What is this track actually called? I can't find it on the ost
why the video is playback? )
This kinda sounds like quake 64 map: 19 the tower of despair.
Edit: Actually it really doesn't my mistake.
I’m just curious there is a night then can u go to apartment at night !?????
There is a daytime, night and a night+rain section in the game. Yes you can go to the apartment during those three time periods.
TF29 must have had contractors fix that one up for Adam cuz the other apts in that complex look nothing like it...
33:06
Who's the cutie on TV (not Eliza)?
Ny'ashia Akim
According to the lore she's a Nigerian pop star that's very active at the time
I want jc and paul idc about Jensen
If only the game had better body and facial animations... but no. They HAD to take Pinocchio for mocap everybody >:(
Lol
هههههه العالم ينصت، يلعب، يتتبع اللعبة و الشخصية الحقيقية و بطل هذه اللعبة لا يملك حتى ما يسد به حاجياته.
Hahaha the world listening, playing, tracking the game and the real character and the hero of this game does not even have to fill his needs- You might have good intentions but not everyone understands you.
Nice
Eliza Cassan is pretty hot
NG Resonance smokes her...and Janice from DX1 smokes both...
The attention to detail in this game is mind blowing. I love zooming in to every random object and corner of every environment I came across to see that the developers took the time to paint such intricate details. To me, this elevates Deus Ex from being just a videogame, it is art.
It's clear that a lot of love and care went into making this game. Which makes it even sadder how underappreciated it is. :/
I regularly like to play music in the background as I doze off in the afternoons after some work, particularly videogame music. I used to play the Silent Hill 2 OST from beginning to end every time, but ever since I discovered your channel, I come here every time. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is one of my all-time favourite games, and one I have a deep appreciation towards for its environments and the outstanding soundtrack. I've been using this video in particular to fall asleep to for weeks now... so thank you and keep up the brilliant work! You deserve more subscribers!
Damn bro, i enjoyed reading your comment. As i read , i began to imagine the senario you are telling.
Why i hear how Rachel says - Do you like our owl? Hidden Bladerunner easter egg?
Yes it is
There's a TV there? Guess I always just access the secret stash so quickly I never realized Jensen owned one.
If you listen to the news reporter on the TV, she talks about the world events influenced by your actions and decisions.
