Late Night had such a great charm about it. I miss those days. I had just graduated high school around the time that this aired. It's pretty surreal watching these clips. It takes me right back to that time.
Mee too, my friend. Your story reminds me of my highschool days. I used to stay up all night with my older cousin watching Late Night with Conan and he really helped shaped my sense of humor and understanding of comedy.
@@Filminformer1984 Definitely. He's got a nose for funny, quirky people. But also I think he just attracts those kind of people in the first place, because of who he is and how much those kind of people gravitate to his sensibility and then want to work for/with him. So it's not surprising that he keeps discovering these hilarious, strange, fascinating and talented people. I sometimes wonder what would've happened if Karl Pilkington had worked at NBC on Conan's show in the early noughties, instead of on XFM...
I always wanted to drum half as good as max! hell, even a quarter! I would study max's moves every night on tv and run to my room and try and do what i saw him do, If i could even remember what it was, by the time i made it to my room! Never did sound anywhere near what i heard on Conan. I do play a 5 piece, but no excuses!
Look you say whatever about Conan but he’s unmatched with keeping staff around and the bad is no different. The Max Weinberg seven literally became Jimmy Vivino and the basic cable band when he went to TBS and were with him up until the show went to a half hour in the last few years- even then they made repeated appearances for specials and live performances and they STILL do today whenever he does live podcast performances, and they do incidental music for the podcast. They played Conan’s wedding. They went on his comedy tour when he wasn’t allowed to be on TV. Max weinberg had to step out after the tonight show (although he visited still) but Conan has kept the rest of the band with him at literally every possible opportunity
1) Square root of 64 is 8. 2) Huckleberry Finn was written by Mark Twain. 2b) Speed of sound is approximately 767.27mph. 3) Pharaoh Tutankhamun was buried Egypt. 3b) The name of the game show is right behind you Conan. . . . . and above Mr. Weinberg in the box.
If anyone doesn't know and is wondering: 1. The square root of 64 is 8. 2. Huckleberry Finn author Mark Twain's real name was Samuel Clemons. 3. The speed of sound is 343 m/s. 4. King Tut was buried in Egypt.

How did they discover that Max is such a good comic actor? Cos he really is. Same with Joel. They're both genuinely funny.
They really stepped up as sidekicks once Andy left
Listen to Inside Conan podcast Max Weinberg episode to find out
Conan really has a knack for rooting out a character. Real or scripted.
Max always made me laugh so hard when I was a kid.

Can't help but notice that the Stump Max Weinberg theme is the same music used as the theme for Andy's daytime talk show Andi.
4:46 on loop for the rest of my life

2006 ... man i miss those years
That's the same music they used for the Andi talk show.
I miss Max. And La Bamba. I understand why Max left, but Conan should never have let go of the band.
If they want to follow Conan, they have to move away with their families which is not cost efficient.
@@MonfernoGliscor28I don't think it's because of that, I think he just got too busy with the boss

Looks like prince harry was watching from the top of the stairs heh
I love when Conan talks shit about his own show😂
I like how they use the same music they did for that stupid Andy bit where Andy had his own talk show lol
Glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed that lol
This was a great bit.
gj La Bamba
I can not look at Joel with out laughing he is brillant
4:24 what the hell is John Frusciante doing there?
Hahaha the chili’s were performing at SNL but John didn’t want to, so he went to watch Conan.
6:09 Prince Harry standing next to the exit!
the girl with the braces sittin next to speed of sound guy is nice.
And the one behind her.

...The real name of the author of Huckleberry Finn is Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain is his pseudonym).
Congratulations

2. Huckleberry Finn author Mark Twain's real name was Samuel Clemons.
3. The speed of sound is 343 m/s.
4. King Tut was buried in Egypt.
After answering the last question, Max should have asked 'Why did I have to be blindfolded for that?'😂😂😂
Aww where’s Bruce Springsteen Blooper?
61 is actually the square root of 3721. But that's close to the square root of 64.
4:11 He kinda looks like Pete Holmes. It can't be him, right?
No, that's Michael Koman :)
Bubba Booye
wouldve been funnier if they revealed max could hear everything
Sorry to hear about your balls.
As a musician, Labama should have known that practice makes perfect lol he definitely didn't practice his lines
Now hodoe de Canaa,
Sorry to hear about your balls.
