Fantastic video! Grazie! Great selection of rolling stock - including the international Renfe Talgo and SBB set. Brought back some happy memories of trains seen when I was passing through Roma Termini several times. Greetings from Scozia
Excellent video. When I last visited Milano Centrale in 1990 the station facade and interior was being cleaned of decades of grime. The famous Eagles from the era of Benito M were being sandblasted. One of my favourite railway stations in the world.
I'll agree with that. Like the lady coupling up the electric loco to the train at 3:00. I'll try and persuade my daughters a job on the railways is a good one as it clearly is. There are certainly plenty of opportunities there.
Many thanks for your comment! I am leased your son likes trains so much! As a child, I also used to watch even steam-locomotives (at that time they were quire common).
Nice close-ups. These are exactly the kind of shots I most enjoy. I would like to be visiting Italy on board FRECCIA ROSSA and departing to SWITZERLAND via Domodossola and Ventimiglia to leave me in Zurich and there to Matterhorn on board its SBB TGV style shown at the end.
I always make sure all my bags are close to me and it's best you never put anything beside you to be sure. Railway stations are always a bit risky, but then this is not unusual . . . I actually didn't notice I was attracting much attention, maybe because it was rush-hour and there was a big crowd. Anyhow, I would probably not go there when the station is deserted late at night.
Nice video! I will be going to Milan next week and I want to do a lot of trainspotting there, but I heard that the central station can be a little tough for tourists. I don't know any Italian, so would I have any trouble by taking pictures there?
Beh, ottimo video. Vieni a trovarmi. Nel frattempo ho cliccato 'iscriviti' anche io sul tuo canale, mi pare tenuto bene e posti dei bei video. Complimenti.

No bother, I spent several hours there and nobody cared. There is no sign or regulation that it is prohibited to make a video so I guess they let you do it as long as you don't enter closed areas or endanger safety.
I don't know whether the opera promotions give a stereotypical portrayal of the average Italian's entertainment preferences or do they love Opera that much? But it's a great station, and they have really good fast trains:-)
RUclips Admin No, but here, in Italy, we don't know very well the meaning of the words "maintenance" and "cleaning", especially for those trains (Regionals and Intercities) which are paid by the State to keep cheap the price of the tickets. These trains are called Public Sevice trains. The others (Frecces) are paid in full by the tickets. So these trains are the most important trains and the most cared; for example during strikes in the weekends Regional and Intercity trains are cancelled, but Frecces are always on time.
9:35 i miss a lot that sound😫 in Italy we no longer use that train

Ma pensa te, va che carine che erano le livree dell'eurostarCity nel 2011, non sapevo manco che esistesse come treno.
