Great idea....although I think I'd go with the larger wheels from HF like the pneumatic ones for a dolly so it would roll across the gravel in my driveway to get to my carport. Would save a lot of space too being able to flip it up on end and store it against a wall somewhere out of the way, but easier to access than on the pallet outside.
Be careful using pneumatic (inflatable ) wheels. Down the road you might get a leak in a tire and it'll cause your deck to fall over and could scratch your car if parked next to it in your garage. Pneumatic are easier to roll around, but like my generator's wheels, eventually you'll have to put air in them cause the Schrader valve will leak a little. Be safe guys...
@@kenito1967 If I only had a garage to worry about something falling over onto a car LOL. Understand what you mean though. I have solid rubber tires on my garden cart because I got tired of the flat tires...and ordered the same tires to build my mower deck dolly with. Hard to push those lawnmower tires over gravel & sand.
Nice little rice paddy you got there! Kubota means sunken rice paddy in Japanese. I'm a John Deere guy I'm kinda stuck on green just poke fun at Kubota owners but all in fun Kubota makes a hell of a tractor! Cars too!
Love this idea. Need to get my deck up and out of the way. Perfect! Do you have anymore of the pipes floating around? If so. I’d appreciate some for my deck. Thanks!
Would it be possible to get the measurement of the length and outside width of the aluminum spacers? Bx23s is ordered just wanted to have all the dollies ready when it arrives.
Hi Joe, great tip and instruction. I'd like to do the same to mine and would follow with the same 1/2 inch threaded rod and 6" wheels. If you still have extra inset pieces would you mind sending a set to NJ? I can message the address if you still have time. Thanks either way.
Awesome! I will likely do this next year. Right now i have no power or anything in my pole barn so it's not being used, had plenty of extra space to throw it in there. Next winter if i have my way it won't be that way
I've never heard that but I see it, ironically was just discussing that show with someone the other day. I assume you mean the original guy, because I sure don't think I look like the new one hahaha. Thanks for subscribing!
Very intuitive and clever idea. I am going to save this and work on this next weekend. Thanks for sharing!

Nice job Joe!!
Clever. I wonder if I can do similar with my spare Cub Cadet
Very cool idea. Great video.
I like it. I’ll be doing something similar with my deck next winter. These are not easy to move around by yourself.
Thanks man great idea. Appreciate u sharing this.
Great idea. If i had a mower deck, I'd make one of these. But I don't. So I won't.

I will check if I have any left. I think they may all be gone.
Very smart idea....do you notice any fluid leakage out of the gear box when it sits upright?
It does drip some if it’s not drained, but I change it in the spring anyways now. Mine left like a 3” circle.
I can't find the 1inch ô.d. tube. What type of pipe is it ?
I can't find the aluminum pipe, what is that pipe used for?
Joe, nice job. If you still have the pipe and metal 1”extra, I could use 4 of each. Thanks
Cool man thanks.
excellent idea, my next project! thanks

Yes, I will try to grab it tonight when I get home. If I don't respond just send me a reminder. Thanks for watching!
Any chance you have an itemized list of the materials?
If you have anymore pipe left I could use the spacers.
What is the diameter of the spindle that the wheel is attached to?
Great idea. I need to do this.
Pretty simple little project.

You should market these to Kubota ?
Tried w dollies your idea better Thanks
Do you get any oil leaking storing it this way?
I have not yet. It's been upright for about 2 months now.
