Great video! when I read the title I thought you will talk about ms excel or AI, but these skills are somewhat different than the others that are more talked about when it comes to CA students. I will definitely work on these. I will take it at a slower pace so that I dont get overwhelmed. After implementing this for one month I will share my progress.
I'll just share my experience, before watching ur video I decided to study for 2hrs. I set my stop watch for 2hrs in reverse manner. So it'll count down from 2:00:00. Whenever I get distracted, I'll see the watch & it'll make me to realize that time is vanishing fastly than I think. So I'll try to focus again on study. this helps me a lot to not distract & realise time awareness as you said.

I have cleared my ca inter 1st grp in 2018 only. But midlife crisis😢, i have been diagnosed with IBD and consequently IBS. Now I am feeling healthy and writing exam this time. I have read and done revision but not having courage to face the exam. Feeling like giving up this time 😢.

Thank you for the comment :) Yes, it's a good idea to start in your mother tongue. Give it at least a 60-day period. First, become a regular writer in your mother tongue. Get skilled in converting your thoughts into a professional text. Then, you can slowly train for writing in English. When you train to write in English, start with the same practices I explained in this video. I won't say it will be easy, but it's a good idea to become good at writing in your mother tongue first and then in English, in case you are not so confident in English.

Hello sir I am from nios board class 12th commerce student I was humanity student and I pass out 11th from art stream in Hindi medium government school but I suddenly dropout from school and now I study through nios board from commerce stream and I chooses English medium. Bro actually i wanna do mba and business but i got failed in ca foundation and that made my mind to do ca inter direct entry...i joined an academy and learning ca inter grp 1 but i feel like i want to learn about business aswell ? Hi sir. It may sound silly but I hope you could guide me... I don't use any social media platforms for now. Twitter very rarely. Most of the time I'm on my laptop.. So how do I track it? Because mostly I do end up procrastinating... Looking forward to reading your thoughts on this :)
See, if you want to overkill this, I think you can do like the private companies. they install a customised software for their employees, right? that tracks completely how much time a person spends on which window, how much sleep time, etc etc. But it is a costly solution. If you want a simple option, you can try this way. But you have to be very intentional about it. Every time you log in to your laptop, you can turn on the stopwatch in your system and make its pop-up version run above the window you're working in some corner. That'd be a good visual cue for you to get out of the autopilot mode. Also, try to use the laptop in flight mode as much as possible. if you want to watch some video content, try to pre-download them, and that way you can watch only them. and you won't be tempted to jump from one session to another, how we do when we're connected to the internet. Hope this helps.
@@CAHareesh Thank you for responding sir. I use my laptop to study or at least I am supposed to.. I take online classes. So I guess the only way is for me to have self-control and be intentional about how I spend my time. I do try but I keep relapsing.. :(
@@amirtha1011 that's totally normal. every time you relapse, just don't bite at yourself and simply reinforce the habit one more time. intentional living is so hard given the countless stimuli we have around us. I plan 10 things in a week. But if I get 7 done, I'd call it a successful week. So, it's completely normal.

Hey hi. Mujhe Hindi mein video karne mein utna comfort nahi. at least as of now. Kyun ki main chennai se hoon aur main english mein more fluent hoon than hindi. Plus, agar main hindi mein video banaun toh, a lot of people from my state (TN) samaj nahi paayenge. If you're a beginner, you can start with the top 30 companies. Just avoid banks in the early days. You can preferably choose FMCG or other consumer goods companies.
Please show your parents there are hundreds of other better courses to pursue. Data Science, Advanced Excel, Power BI, SAP, SQL etc etc. M Com had its time. But that was way in the past. If 2024, consider pursuing what I mentioned above.
Sir is it worth it to start CA at 20 years of age? I am currently doing ACCA and would try to complete it before 20 years of age and i would still have bcom going by that age (so i can't do MBA), so is doing CA worth it after that
Yes, very much. but do CA, only if you have plans of staying in India. If you have plans of settling abroad, then just B Com with ACCA will be enough. But you can definitely start now. It's not late.

Hello sir, I'm a student pursuing ca currently in my 12th standard and I've been having some bad thoughts like my classmates have practiced the books twice or thrice already whereas I haven't done it even once it was the same in my 11th standard it is unbelievable that i didn't practice any questions my entire 11th i only did the bare minimun memorized the entries and cleared the exam but now i think I'm behind in my preparations for ca. 4 days ago I started practicing questions for real have been going at it with all I've got but still having thoughts like will my hardwork will be able to beat someone who works harder than me and has been doing it for a longer period than me. As for the video, 1) I will start noting my sitting hours and my time spent from tomorrow onwards. 2) For writing, I've always been passionate about writing a fiction novel, so i hope to start with that. 3) For financial analysis, I don't have a good understanding of the concepts of a finacial report but I will try my best.
Hey, I read your story. You are just in Class 12. And it's just May. For class 12, I suggest my students to practice accounts just for 30 mins every day. But without gap. If you just practice 30 mins accounts every day till the board exam, you can at least get 90. I wish you all the best. Study without stressing yourself. And all the best for your fiction novel. :)

Thank you for the comment :) Yes, it's a good idea to start in your mother tongue. Give it at least a 60-day period. First, become a regular writer in your mother tongue. Get skilled in converting your thoughts into a professional text. Then, you can slowly train for writing in English. When you train to write in English, start with the same practices I explained in this video. I won't say it will be easy, but it's a good idea to become good at writing in your mother tongue first and then in English, in case you are not so confident in English.

Hi sir. It may sound silly but I hope you could guide me... I don't use any social media platforms for now. Twitter very rarely. Most of the time I'm on my laptop.. So how do I track it? Because mostly I do end up procrastinating... Looking forward to reading your thoughts on this :)
See, if you want to overkill this, I think you can do like the private companies. they install a customised software for their employees, right? that tracks completely how much time a person spends on which window, how much sleep time, etc etc. But it is a costly solution.
If you want a simple option, you can try this way. But you have to be very intentional about it. Every time you log in to your laptop, you can turn on the stopwatch in your system and make its pop-up version run above the window you're working in some corner. That'd be a good visual cue for you to get out of the autopilot mode.
Also, try to use the laptop in flight mode as much as possible. if you want to watch some video content, try to pre-download them, and that way you can watch only them. and you won't be tempted to jump from one session to another, how we do when we're connected to the internet.

@@CAHareesh Thank you for responding sir. I use my laptop to study or at least I am supposed to.. I take online classes. So I guess the only way is for me to have self-control and be intentional about how I spend my time. I do try but I keep relapsing.. :(
@@amirtha1011 that's totally normal. every time you relapse, just don't bite at yourself and simply reinforce the habit one more time. intentional living is so hard given the countless stimuli we have around us. I plan 10 things in a week. But if I get 7 done, I'd call it a successful week. So, it's completely normal.

Hey hi. Mujhe Hindi mein video karne mein utna comfort nahi. at least as of now. Kyun ki main chennai se hoon aur main english mein more fluent hoon than hindi. Plus, agar main hindi mein video banaun toh, a lot of people from my state (TN) samaj nahi paayenge. Yes, very much. but do CA, only if you have plans of staying in India. If you have plans of settling abroad, then just B Com with ACCA will be enough. But you can definitely start now. It's not late.

I'm a student pursuing ca currently in my 12th standard and I've been having some bad thoughts like my classmates have practiced the books twice or thrice already whereas I haven't done it even once it was the same in my 11th standard it is unbelievable that i didn't practice any questions my entire 11th i only did the bare minimun memorized the entries and cleared the exam but now i think I'm behind in my preparations for ca. 4 days ago I started practicing questions for real have been going at it with all I've got but still having thoughts like will my hardwork will be able to beat someone who works harder than me and has been doing it for a longer period than me.
As for the video,
1) I will start noting my sitting hours and my time spent from tomorrow onwards.
2) For writing, I've always been passionate about writing a fiction novel, so i hope to start with that.
3) For financial analysis, I don't have a good understanding of the concepts of a finacial report but I will try my best.
Hey, I read your story. You are just in Class 12. And it's just May. For class 12, I suggest my students to practice accounts just for 30 mins every day. But without gap. If you just practice 30 mins accounts every day till the board exam, you can at least get 90. I wish you all the best. Study without stressing yourself.

1) I kept time of my sitting hours with respect to my time spent on my phone for the quite but haven't been able to do it quite properly since the last couple of days.
2) I started writing my novel and have written quite alot since I started and it feels like I'm overdoing it, I'm trying to keep it under control.
3) I only managed to read the financial report for the first day and haven't touched it since then
