Do you know if they fix the quality control issues for the cards?? (originally all the cards were different sizes or came a little bent) Also you mentioned that the booklet has the direction for how to read them in a tarot situation, but do the expansion cards have a general magical effect in case you are just using them as the artifact deck of many things for game play?
Great questions. If the size or bending issues still persistent, they're too small for me to notice. I'm not at all disappointed by the quality of the cards I got. I guess I didn't really highlight the magical effects, but the larger book does have a section where each card--new & old--has a listed magical effect so you can use it like the old Deck of Many Things. Plus, the book encourages you to either use the whole deck or pick the cards you want in the deck (it's ever changing, etc.). Overall, I'm very pleased with what I see, and both books provide a wide variety of ways to use the cards.
