2020 I'm playing this series for the first time. I just did beat the game in brutal thanks for this strategy. I was going insane of trying over and over again. Thank you.
I gotta say man, to me that was a pretty ballsy strategy! A few times you had me scared like at 2:29 and 4:41. Just one shotgun blast from death but you kept shuffling and wearing him down!
I remember when I was like 11 or so I was playing uncharted 2 at night when I was supposed to be sleeping and I remember getting to the boss fight and being really scared cuz he was just running after me and stuff so I remember I quickly turned off my console and I was scared to literally move but I eventually had to, to get to bed. So then in the morning I told my parents that I had a nightmare last night cuz I did have a nightmare about that guy. Then I asked my dad if he could play with me and he said yeah and then I told him if he could do that boss for me and he said sure hand me the controller so I did and he failed about 4 times before getting the hang of it and then when he completed the boss I said “can I have the controller back now?” And he said “awww already? I just started” but he gave it to me anyways but the I done the final like running across the falling bridge thing and I was so relieved that I didn’t have to beat him again and that my dad helped me defeat him. And now a couple years later I’m still scared to play the final boss. So that my story on this boss
I love how people have these weard "easy" strategies to beat him. I tried few but didnt work so i just run, run, run until hes next to blue explody thingi, explosion, run, run, run, explosio, run, run, run, explosion ... Etc. I hate this boss. 😆😢😴 Propably will never "enjoy" this game again on crushing thanks to this little fella.

Thank god they never patched this (nor the blue room on the first Uncharted) otherwise this would be impossible.

However, there is a nice glitch where you get trapped on a tree and become invulnerable
Im beating him on crushing one month before on my ps3 just try run and shoot.
It takes for me 2-3 failure's attempts until finally get him.
