Thanks for having this video for everyone to see. This is my favorite of all the Hunter intros, mainly because i think that the music best fits the show.
I am 34 and this is one of my favorite shows growing up next to Knight Rider and the A-Team. I always had a fascination of shows ranging from the ‘30’s (The 3 Stooges is where it all started) all the way to the ‘80’s. 😎
@@Dantezim1 In ‘88 but they showed alot of the ‘80’s shows when I grew up in the ‘90’s. I prefer them over anything any day. But I do like old movies from the ‘30’s through the ‘80’s.
I do enjoy the old Conquest/Daytona Z car, But there's one major drawback other than a dubbed in siren... The car is really a Mitsubishi Starion with the pentastar on it's hood.
Even the writers weren't happy with season 1. Luckily, they brought in writers from the old Rockford Files in the second season and the show found its' groove.
I also would love to see another Hunter reunion TV movie too. In fact, i would love to see a Hunter/Law & Order: SVU crossover movie. I think that it would be a lot of fun seeing Hunter and McCall teaming up with Elliot and Olivia, who has succeed them as the top crime fighting partnership that a lot of people would like to see as more than friends.
Officer Hunter and Di Di are real great American, Normal but great. they are real ironman and woman better than Terminator acted by Arnold. they are symbol of justice. I love them . Greeting from Beijing China.
No its not the correct season 2 intro, for some reason the DVD has seasons 1 and 2 as the same, but they weren't. I know because I taped them on VHS when the show was new.
@@brandonpage7087 look you can see it was cut off at the end. You can see him dusting his hands off at the end but it cuts so you can't hear " WORKS FOR ME "
Used to love this show back then, was a good cop program for Saturday nights. But, I have always wondered what happened to Fred Dryer. Anyway, thanks for taking me back down memory lane:)
@jjjred1987 Hunter did get a reboot a few years ago, if memory serves. Unfortunately, NBC killed the reboot before it even got started. Of the original series, Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer would be available to do a reboot(IF they wanted to try it again).
You know what would also be an idea of sorts - having a "Hunter" and "Profiler" crossover. As you may know, Profiler aired in Hunter's old 10 p.m. time slot on Saturday nights from 1996-2000. Hunter and McCall would be paired superbly with profiler Sam Waters, and seeing as Hunter loved to take on sadistic creeps, it'd be a great match. On the other hand, a match-up with Maxwell Smart and Joe Friday? LOL, wouldn't work, as Max would just botch it up. :)
the difference is the synth sound on the chorus. This one has a cut-off filter and resonance . season one was basic sawtooth and the mix is a bit tighter on the whole thing .
Dude, I used to watch this when I was 3 years old and I know that catchphrase. I just started bitching out loud because I watched the season 1 intro and he didn't say it. "Works For Me."
My biggest complaint besides not using the season 2 intro was that they edited out EVERY good regular classic song (from Jim Croce to Talking Heads to the Fix) from the Season 1 DVD release and put in some crappy unrealsed tunes that just didn't mix.
has ANYONE noticed that the first two theme songs do not include Hunter's catchphrase that always ended the NBC versions? name that catchphrase. AND YES I know it
Oh man i have my doubts about a film version of Hunter, especially with Jessica Alba as McCall. Personally i think that Kate Beckinsale would be a better fit. I fear that this will be another typical Hollywood butchery of a classic show. However at least Fred Dryer is involved with the project with him co-writing the script. Hopefully he can make this movie at least respectable.
@@ThunderAppeal Lol i hear you but it's hard for me to choose between the 3rd and 5th because they're just both my favs. Though I agree the 5th season was amazing with guitar riffs and the middle section with the synthesizer was stellar.
Ahh, my childhood. This show, Macguyver and Hart to Hart were the shows to watch back in the day. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane.
These old tv show theme songs kick so much ass!
I always watched at dinnertime with my family in italy when i was a child. I liked that show.
I haven’t heard this theme song since the show went off the air. I still remembered every note and could hum along perfectly in 2022
This is my favourite theme from all the seasons
Season 3 is my favorite.
Hunter Season 2 was the best version. A tv theme song classic.
Definitely!!!! 🎵🎶🎼
I used to watch Hunter on NBC. I was Happy when Hunter came to TBS, and Later appeared on TV Land. Now, I Want to get Hunter on DVD.
its on Amazon Prime now
I used to watch this when I was a kid... fred dryer was on his magnum p.I. shit.. another classic

I loved watching this show! Steph Kramer was so HOT!
"Works for me!!" What happened to THAT part?... So epic.
Gotta love DD's Dodge Daytona Turbo Z. :)
I do enjoy the old Conquest/Daytona Z car, But there's one major drawback other than a dubbed in siren...

By far the best arrangement. This series has so much testosterone it would be cancelled these days
Oh there's one of the rear-drive Dodge Daytona conversions (done by American Sunroof Corp) 🤭
Too bad these kinds of show aren't made nowadays. Just reality shows. I miss the theme songs along with the good show.
Even the writers weren't happy with season 1. Luckily, they brought in writers from the old Rockford Files in the second season and the show found its' groove.
Including, among them, Roy Huggins.
Season 1 wasnt the best but it wasnt that bad

Dirty harry the tv series
Best 80s show. Wish I could go back in time.
Well you cant.
So quit your whining and move on.
ThunderAppeal get off my comment and go fuck yourself. 😉
@@Gildedbutterfly1976 no way you were born in 1976 ? You look young as hell !! I was born in 73 (not my real pic lol)
80's❤
Those were the days of real TV.
Funny how I watch this video b4 , and it ended with Hunter saying , " Works 4 me. " Now it doesn't. Awesome show regardless.
“Works for me!”
BEST.......COP.......SHOW.......EVER!!!!!!
Bring back Hunter, we need cops like this to fight the rising crime in USA today.

NO "WORKS FOR ME" ???
Yeah, that's what I was thinking!! Whenever I play this theme in my head, I always remember the "works for me" line, at the end.

I was waiting for the works for me too wth
its on Tubi in Canada!

Dryer appeared as one of the heads of HYDRA in the second season of .AGENTS OF SHIELD. He's also now a sports commentator on Sirius Satellite Radio
This is not the original Season 2 intro…for some reason TV Land & the DVD releases re-used Season 1’s intro…which is what this is.
(HUNTER BREAKS THE FOURTH WALL)
Works for me.

@MrDwaynep2008 it was replaced by the S1 credits w/ the S2 theme on TV Land reruns and on DVD's.
Hes was definatley the toughest tv cop she was so hot luved this show

It isn`t official yet, but the plans are there. So it`s more down the road.
Hunter is awesome!!!
This intro is like the first season intro.
the difference is the synth sound on the chorus. This one has a cut-off filter and resonance . season one was basic sawtooth and the mix is a bit tighter on the whole thing .
At the end he says WORKS FOR ME.
Hunter and McCall
That's the season 1 intro. The DVDs have it as season 2 as well, but it is not.
@AaronBruceLadner The whole series can be bought for 70 bucks on amazon
Dude, I used to watch this when I was 3 years old and I know that catchphrase. I just started bitching out loud because I watched the season 1 intro and he didn't say it. "Works For Me."
fred dryer was the shitt in those days you never even hear about him anymore
Thanx for the heads up:)
Never noticed she spelled her name "Stepfanie". Bizarre.
You could put show up their with Magnum P.I. and Miami vice.

I typed in Hunter x Hunter season 2 intro, why am I here
wow good time when tv series show chasing car, shooting, exploding. recent tv series only bring more dialogue than action
elizan crown I agree 100%
Why cut off the "Works for me"⁉️🤦
I wish the revival from 2003 had been successful.

what happened to the part at the end when Hunter says works for me
...works for me!
why havent the satelite networks repeated rhis series
I liked this TV show my mother too!in France at channel TF1
Music is kinda lame but forsure '80's style, love that women actually had hair.
Works for me 🤷🏾♂️
This is not the season 2 intro. It's season 1 intro
Works for me.
good question what happened?
hey owner where did you get season 5 and 6 ? i want all the hunter dvd box set!! so bad
"Works For Me!!...bitch!"
WONDER WOMAN WORKING AS POLICE!!
Right version of the theme, wrong visuals.
Ya too much reality bring back the good shows
Did they change the part played on the piano to being played on some sort of synth? (from season 1)
Classic. When shows weren’t so brainwashing and meaningless.
Did they change anything from the season 1 intro?

Does anyone listen to Aldo Nova and watch Dirty Harry
I like this but you can't beat seasons 3, 5 and 6 for me. But especially season 3 was the very best intro out of all of them.
