Thank you so much for this video, it's so detailed and it has measurements so making it was really easy to follow. I highly recommend it to everyone. Also, thank you for tips in comments on when to make it and how to store it so it would last.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. I hope to do more videos like this in the future so it’s good to know that the layout works well. 😃
This is a great video, I'm making the cake for my granddaughters baby shower, and this is a great guide. I like how you put the measurements for the fondant. That's nice. Thanks for sharing 👍
Good luck recreating the elephant. I think it definitely helps having some sort of size guideline so I hope you find it useful too. 😊 🐘

What is the white powder? Is it icing sugar?
Which colour is this?
How many days in advance do you recommend making?
Fondant keeps really well when stored in dry, cool conditions. I tend to make mine a few days before so they are nice and sturdy for transporting but if its a busy week, I’ve made them a week or so in advance. I then just make sure it’s kept in a little cake box or something and kept out of direct sunlight. I wouldn’t put it in an airtight container though because it will just keep the fondant soft. It does need some air to dry it out. I hope that makes sense 😊
